Every Sunday/2nd Sunday would eat from here with mates. Would always take it takeaway and sometimes missing items but no major issues and sometimes would not even call if it was a side of chops etc. This time the missing items when I rang the store was accused of lying about them, when asked for the receipt number the manager Ethan, wouldn't give it to me saying it was too far back to find, to which I told him, he just called me a liar but was obviously himself lying. He offered me a store credit for the missing items. I asked, so KFC trains its employees to accuse customers of lying and when confirmation of a KFC mistake is made are pressured to offer store credit only for those items. I asked if I would be compensated with an extra add on or drink to test him, he shut it down and said he can't. Which is obviously a lie as we've all experienced the customer service from fast food establishments when a mistake needs to be rectified. I mocked that it's amazing to see that he went from accusing me of lying to now doing the bare minimum to compensate me, and that at 11pm at night my time, petrol and money isnt worth anything to KFC. I asked for a refund for when Id return in an hour. Upon return his professionalism was hilarious. Untidy, looked tired, started calling me a liar infront of Staff. When I asked for the receipt in public and infront of Staff. He pretended to go in the back, which unfortunately for him you could see his reflection and was laughing amongst Staff, came back and said was too far lost amongst other orders.
Hardly ever leave reviews especially for fast food chains where they hire young kids instead of adults. But this lad Cleary has some personal issues to go through, before he starts managing and being front of staff and first point of contact for customers....
Read moreWhilst they often make a fine chook, I can’t fathom their sometimes poor customer service. We went in to dine the other night to treat ourselves to some finger licking good. I ordered an Ultimate Box with an Original Recipe Burger. I asked the cashier (yes an odd request), if they could put a “thin” fillet of chicken in the burger - something which all they had to do was ask the person out the back to do. I continued to say if they could just choose out a “thinner” piece, rather than a “thicker” piece (not personal preference, it’s medical). She acted as if she had no idea what I was talking about and called the manager - Lachlan. After explaining the same to him, he came on strong and loud, persisting that all the chicken fillets were the same thickness. Now, I know that’s a lie because I’ve personally had different levels of thickness in my chicken burger fillets. I pleaded with him just to ask the person making the burger to choose out a “thinner” than usual piece - no big deal I had thought. But he insisted that “all chicken is the same and that I “got what I got”. Well, I was just flabbergasted. The customer service needs to improve and they need to be a little nicer to someone who is adverse to...
Read moreThis KFC is a mess. We came through the drive through and once we had gotten home, we realised that one of our friends entire order was missing. We drove back and went inside. Met with complete attitude from the manager on duty. It was remade and once we got back to the car checked the order again and our other friends original twister had been made incorrectly to what we ordered. We again went inside and was met with you guessed it, attitude. While our friend was inside getting the wrap rectified we had realised they missed the popcorn chicken for the original twister box so our friend inside mentioned this to the manager and was all but called a liar. The manager wanted to see the bag with the order so our friend came inside and took the whole bag back in. The manager put everything out on the bench and said “oh you’re right”, gave us the order and we left.
Everyone makes mistakes, that’s life and humans. One thing that could have saved the whole interaction is the attitude of the staff. If the mistake is made all you need to do it be genuinely polite and helpful. if we’re being honest, if that was done by the staff we interacted with this review would have never been written. Being kind costs...
