This was one of the worst takeaway food places I’ve ever had the displeasure of experiencing. I ordered $31.35 worth of food this evening at 7:30 pm, and immediately I knew that be issues as the staff member could not hear me properly despite speaking clearly to the box. When I reached the window to pay, I was told to pull into one of the parkbays. Nothing terribly unusual so far. From then on three more cars were parked along with the car in front of me taking it to 5. By 7:55 pm I went into the store and waited. I then asked the front counter if my order Was on the screen. It was not. He went out the back and returned shortly thereafter with a bag containing my order consisting of an original recipe burger, a cheese and bacon zinger burger, a large chips and 6 nuggets.
The bag has been crumpled and the food was starting to sweat which indicated to me that it had been prepared and then forgotten about and left on a bench behind the counter on a bench. When I asked the front counter how long it was sitting there, He shrugged his shoulders and had no idea. They had also missed the nuggets I had ordered so he put those in and then I had to remind him that I hadn’t been given my drink.
The burgers were made with little to no lettuce and because they’d been in the bag for so long they had started to turn mushy due to being in a moisture hairy environment. The chips were less than desirable but since I’ve waited nearly 30 minutes for this slop, I wasn’t going hang around for another 30 mins to get it replaced.
The store manager and crew for Sunday, March 9 at around 7:30 pm was nothing short of disgraceful. I read with interest some of the previous reviews in recent months and it appears that this franchise has not improved. I will never return to this franchise, and instead II will go to McDonald’s next door or red rooster down the road because they are highly unlikely to stuff up the order as badly and as unprofessionally as this joke of a franchise did tonight.
Tips from a pissed off paying customer;
-fix your bloody radio box and the headsets that your staff use. If they can’t hear the order, it’s going to fail every time.
-Improve your workflow system so that when the orders come in they come in first and go out first instead of the push posh I experienced tonight.
-Give your crew the store phone number as I intended to call but he didn’t know what the phone number was, which is unacceptable.

Walked in to place my order and they had one guy serving and preparing orders while the others were in the kitchen or just walking around like headless chickens. It was clear to me that after waiting 10 minutes and finally be served that the guy behind the counter was new as he didn't even know how to key the order in. After placing my order i sat down and watched a shit show of inactivity in getting the orders done. Alot of walking around looking at the screen and looking confused. After 25 minutes I approached the counter and asked why its taking so long he just said there were a lot of orders which was rubbish. I told him either get my order ready now or give me money back. I also asked to see the manager as I felt he/she should come to help. The guy went to the back kitchen area and come back said the manager will be out in a second as he's cooking? I told him just get my order done so I can go. I ordered a large 3 piece box which contains 3 pce of chicken, chips and potato and gravy. He puts 3 pces of chicken in the box only. I said where chips? Where's the gravy? He looked puzzled. I pretty much had to tell him how to pack my order. At no stage did the so called manager come to help or apologise. Read moreA very hit & miss KFC. The staff/training there at moment are/is pretty average. 5 visits in 5 weeks, one of those visits was great KFC, fresh, juicy, not sludgy, crisp chips. The other 4 visits however, dry old chicken, same with chips, adding insult to injury, having ordered in advance online, I still had to wait min' ten minutes 3 of those times. Think about that for a second. They have the order in advance, I've triggered the steps in the app' before I even pulled up in carpark. Then I have to wait 10 minutes for food I can see is sitting there, & turns out is stale & dry.(only a couple of other customers came through while I'm there). I'd been a chef for 23yrs, I know the system, I have no idea what these kids are doing. I can hear the mucking around conversation, can't see any good results. One really big basic service tip, acknowledge the customer when approached. Last time I was in there the girl didn't even look at me for minutes. One car in drive through, one other customer in store, & I'm left with a server moving around with her back to me, not acknowledging me for literally minutes. Edit 6/05/22 it has gotten a lot better.
