Do not come here for bottomless lunch!!!!
I booked the bottomles for my birthday lunch with a group of 15. Having been to bottomless experiences before, I was surprised when we were seated at the back of the restaurant and forgotten about. I was expecting to have the drink options and menu explained, and the opportunity to indicate dietary requirements. However, after 15 minutes we had to go up to the bar to ask for drinks. There appeared to be only one server, but there were only a couple of tables apart from our group and the restaurant knew we were coming.
We didn’t receive a drink until half an hour had passed, of our 90 minute session. Most of our booking was spent without us having a drink. I then tried to order wine and beer, thinking this required less time from the server. I initially was told we couldn’t order wine until we had our cocktails, so I then explained that at the present time we had no drinks on the table. I also tried to order coronas, which is currently listed on the website (as at 14 Oct) as being included in the bottomless but we were not allowed to order them.
We didn’t see any food until 50 minutes into the booking, which was surprising considering it was a set menu and they knew we were arriving at 2pm.
For $75, I was incredibly disappointed with the product and the lack of generosity in the food. If it had been a regular lunch that would have been understandable that they were understaffed, but collectively we paid $1250 (with the Sunday surcharge) and did not receive that in food and drinks.
The bottom line is that the staff seemingly had no experience with serving the bottomless menu, and simply should not have taken the booking if they were not prepared with the staff to fulfil...

The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, perfect for both small gatherings and large groups. Their menu caters to everyone, including kids, with a wide selection of gluten-free and vegan options. For meat lovers, the chargrilled corn, buffalo chicken wings, fried fish tacos, beef quesadilla, and churros are simply divine. The flavours are rich and the freshness of the ingredients really shines through. Vegetarians are also well taken care of with a delicious option with chargrilled corn, stuffed jalapenos, mushroom tacos, vego quesadilla and churros. The variety ensures that everyone finds something they love.
One of the highlights is their drinks menu. Whether you're in the mood for a margarita jug, sangria jug, mojito jug, house white or red wine, lager pot, pale ale pot, or even a Corona (available at Hampton only), there's something for every palate. Their bottomless brunch every Saturday and Sunday is a must-try, offering unlimited tacos and booze, making it a perfect way to enjoy the weekend.
We also found the staff extremely friendly as we had a newborn with us and overall this was an amazing dining experience with great ambiance and mouthwatering food and drinks. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a taste of Mexico!

Read moreHalloween craving Mexican. Ordered nachos and chips. Very generous serving. Nachos really tasty, would order again, or dine in. However delivery quoted 25-30 mins actual time? Nearly 1 hour, so that wasn't good. 14.5.23 5 of us for lunch, bookings for 90 mins only, which I hate, so always arrive 10 mins early. Shared entrees of nachos, corn, fries and spicy cauliflower bites which were delicious! Mains I ordered vegetarian enchilada (mushroom) which came with rice, beans and salad and I loved it. Husband had paella while others had chicken burrito, steak fajitas and vegetarian (tofu) fajitas. Drinks Prosecco, Coke, Orange Jurrito and tea. Unfortunately La Cabra doesn't do coffee. Then we had deserts, key lime pie, choc cake and churros and churros were free for mothers on Mothers Day. I thought the entrees and my main were excellent but the desert not so much. Not as busy as I thought would be, as when booked stated only tables at front of restaurant available, none out the back but when I went out back just one table of people, rest empty so maybe just said booked out because only had 2 staff members on and wouldn't cope with more customers. I would go back. 15.9 I noticed this review had disappeared but it won't repost with photos so have uploaded...
