Little Cafe down near Linacre road end of Hampton Street. Tiny spot that seats about 12 inside but has lots of seating outside and in a nice touch has blankets available for outside diners. Menu has all breakfast basics you'd expect but also several bagel options I haven't seen at other Cafes in Hampton. Husband had 3 cheese toastie and I had avocado on rye toast. The avocado came with obligatory poached egg, which I gave to husband and I thought it was OK, not best avo I'd had but at $22 definitely the dearest. We also had large coffees (flat white and soy latte). Coffees nice but had to ask for sugar. So glad finally went. Also got takeaway muffin, white chocolate and raspberry, which seems to be muffin of the day everywhere I have been lately, so makes me wonder are they are all coming from same place? And yes re name had to ask and yes owner was a Paperboy! (Remember them?).

A favourite cafe of mine! The menu itself is great, both food and drinks. Lots of gluten free options, and the portions are decent. The toasties, bagels and sandwiches are delicious, as are the hotcakes. Some great Kusmi teas available if you’re not a coffee drinker. Still or sparkling water available for free. Nice outdoor dining area aswell on the street when the weather is warmer. Everything is served with fancy cutlery and a mix of hand made pottery too - nice little touch.

The place was packed both outside and inside and was dog friendly in terms of bowls outside for dogs to have a drink. Service was fast and the staff were very polite and helpful. The food was amazing and came out very quickly despite them being so busy. Also was good value for money and is one of the better cafes in the area. Highly reccomend coming here for brunch. Lots of items on the menu for me to try over the next visits.

Excellent food with so many unusual choices for those on gluten free and vegetarian or vegan diets .....but happily lots of choice for those who are not on any regime as such Great attention to detail in the end result ....both in terms of how various components work to provide novelty and contrast - but also in the aesthetic presentation of each meal . Truly punches well above its weight and so unexpected for a tiny , modest place . Brilliant Proud Mary coffee - once again not really expected this far south of its eponymous source ....and barista skills well on show . Wait staff are breezy ,friendly and really want you to have a nice experience with just the right balance of attentiveness and professionalism .Mainly outdoor seating so rug up if its cold. Dogs and children fit in well ....A total...

Came for coffee only, and I'm quite pleased that was the case. The coffee took 20 minutes from ordering, with staff looking as though they were struggling with the computer system. One staff member took orders for the next door table with pen and paper and then took about 10 minutes to enter on the computer system. But the thing that concerned me the most was that the 2 senior staff were both getting dog biscuits, feeding them to dogs and then going back to dealing with food and coffee, without any noticeable hand washing. This is such a basic no-no for food health and safety. I will not be returning and I should have told them...
