Been here a few times and order then same thing, never had a problem before until today. I ordered the chicken mushroom, had started eating my food until I came to the middle part of my chicken schnitzel, and the texture of the chicken was rubber and really hard, I told the waiter that my chicken wasn’t cooked right, and a few minutes later the manager had come up to me and said “we’ve just cut into the chicken and it’s cooked perfectly, and I had explained to him, why I didn’t think it was right, not only am I carrying but I’m not going to eat food that I think can harm my baby, I explained to the manager it’s like the chicken was frozen and only the outside parts cooked but came to the middle it wasn’t right, and the manager had turned around and said well I can’t give you another chicken because you’ve ate most of it. It was rude how he said it and the fact that he said it. I had requested to get my plate back, & asked my brothers if it was me but they also said the same thing, the textre wasn’t right, and it was like rubber. I had told the manager he was rude but for him to turn around and saying I’m being rude, I had turned around and explain, I’m a customer and shouldn’t be spoken like this to, for him to have the nerve to walk off and continue to argue with me while other customer and in the restaurant as well. It was poor for the manager to turn around and speak to me like that, at the end of the day your customers do come first, you would think he’d be more considerate seeing that I’m pregnant. What made it worse is that I had told the manager I’m not going to pay for my food because I don’t think it’s fair, so I walked out to know how he continuesly taking about how I was being rude towards my brother and even saying I still ate the food when I did it. Read moreIt’s incredibly disappointing that Lazy Moe’s continues to twist the truth and send the same copy-paste response to multiple people, while outright denying what actually happened. We did not act aggressively or inappropriately — our frustration only came after being disrespected, dismissed, and publicly laughed at by staff.
Let’s be clear: when we called at 11:30am, we were told there was availability outdoors only at 1pm. We weren’t told it was “walk-in only” or that outdoor seating couldn’t be reserved. The call was treated like a booking — we were asked to hold while they checked, then told “see you soon.” There was no mention of first-come, first-served. Claiming otherwise now is dishonest and gaslighting.
When we arrived, the outdoor table we expected was given to the group in front of us — who openly said they hadn’t booked. That’s what caused confusion and frustration, not any so-called “hostility” on our part. The hostess spoke over us, laughed in our faces, and said, “Take what I’m offering or get out.” When we asked to speak to the manager, she claimed she was the manager and repeatedly shouted “Get out of my store.” That’s not professionalism — it’s bullying.
We genuinely tried to resolve the situation respectfully so we could still enjoy our Mother’s Day, but instead we were shut down, dismissed, and made to feel like we were in the wrong. It was clear our concerns weren’t being heard — just brushed off.
To make matters worse, Lazy Moe’s is now deleting and hiding negative reviews and comments rather than addressing them with honesty and accountability. That alone speaks volumes.
We didn’t come here to start conflict. We came to celebrate as a family. But thanks to the rude treatment we received and Lazy Moe’s refusal to take any responsibility, we left feeling humiliated and deeply...

Been going to this place for 15 years on and off as we live around corner, in-laws we’re down from country and going home this morning so we decided to go for late breakfast before they left, was welcomed lovely as always and sat down and ordered our meals and drinks, I ordered a iced coffee which was approximately $7? When it came it was nothing more than milk with some coffee and ice cube and tasted Horrible, as this young man went by I said this is horrible can I have a hot latte in stead please well before I had finished speaking he said “ you didn’t have to say it was horrible you could have said it wasn’t to me liking in a rude manner and mumbled something else under his breath and stood there and rolled his eyes at me rude boy. My latte came back served by a lovely lady, I politely asked is this boy a staff member or a family member of the company and told her how rude his was she told me he was the manager and son of the owner!!! 5 mins later he comes storming over and said you could have spoken to me about this and not to the lady etc and said of ell that is how it is sometimes you get annoyed by customers etc I ah e worked in the business for 20 off years and was discussed it his attitude!!! And while walking out he pointed at me and proceeded to speak to his Freind behind the counter !!! I will never step foot in this place again !!! What gives him the right manager or son of owner to speak to people like that. I am not a KAREN and never complain about service etc until now was very embarrassing to my elderly in-laws as well as me and my husband.
