I came in here after a haircut. Great atmosphere, music palatable to most, service incredible, soy decaf latte fabulous. Wasn’t too bitter, perfect milk fluff on top, not too hot perfect to drink and enjoy with no burnt mouth like some places do so made it a real pleasure to enjoy. The Eggs Benedict with sourdough bread and bacon was ample and not weighing heavy after eating. You don’t want leftover food you didn’t eat because they over fill your plate. The bacon was perfectly cooked not burnt or dry or oily, and more than ample. As you can see I left my knife and fork in the position that says I throughly enjoyed my meal and highly recommend and would definitely be back!!
Highly recommend this little jewel of Werribee!!
Have revisited 18th February 2023
Still excellent!! Had the eggs Benedict with bacon and holindaise sauce and caramel slice, soy decaf latte like coffee club coffee and wonderful. Carmel slice is not overly sweet and easy to separate and a gastrointestinal delight!
Today I have the pleasure of eating in 24/02/2024
I had Eggs Benedict with Full Cream Latte and a a Mint Slice. I asked for runny eggs and I saved half of a slice as have is more than adequate for me and in general. To take half home for my Husband. The Atmosphere was filled with the older Italian Gentleman in deep Conversation, in Werribee was a delight and added more to my experience.
Only but I have is the 2 seater sitting, the table needs to be steady as I had to be careful not to spill the coffee and the toast could be Soughdough a bit thicker with a light crispness crunch which would add a texturally sensory delight to the meal, the amount is great as I don’t like a heavy bloated feeling like I’ve eaten too much.
Overall it’s still a great meal and place to dine! 9 out of 10 Guys, well done!! ...
Read moreOverall, it's a standard cafe with nothing particularly exceptional to offer. It has a local charm to it, but it's not the type of place you would go out of your way to visit.
One highlight was the chocolate milkshake I ordered. It was absolutely delicious and came in a generously large serving. If you're a fan of milkshakes, I highly recommend giving it a try. The flavors were on point, and it was definitely a treat.
When it comes to the food, I have no complaints. The eggs Benedict I ordered was nice, and the quality was as expected. I believe the sauce is not house made. You can expect good food without any major disappointments.
However, I must mention that the atmosphere and overall condition of the cafe left a bit to be desired. There was a run-down feeling to the place which is a shame as it had a lovely mural on the wall but the rest of the cafe didn't match. It's more of a casual, pop-in kind of cafe, rather than a spot where you'd go for a cozy or visually appealing ambiance.
One major downside during my visit was the lack of heating. It was quite cold inside, as they hadn't turned on the heater. This was quite disappointing and affected the overall comfort of the experience. If you prefer a warm and cozy atmosphere when enjoying your meal, this may be a drawback for you.
In summary, this cafe is a decent option if you're looking for a quick bite or a simple coffee. However, if you value the aesthetics and atmosphere of a cafe, this may not be the ideal spot for you. Nonetheless, if you're in the area and need a convenient place to grab a bite, it can be a...
Read moreHm Chatter box, i had high expectations O.o but you chose the wrong day to mess with a pregnant lady's meal
Overall price for my meal was okay, the portion was also alright but my main concern is this:
I ordered a Deluxe sandwich in Turkish roll and a steak breaky. Before ordering, i made sure that "Spinach" was not in the meal (i read the meal description 3 times and saw spinach wasn't part of the meal) which is why i ordered those To my surprise both meals come with hand packed Spinach which was literally just slapped on the plate dripping and all soaked in that steak fillet juice (EW).
As i'm pregnant i cannot eat packaged salads and raw meats (these are causes for Miscarriage)
Why serve something you did not describe it in the meal option? Why serve a steak that's raw and flavourless (easiest way to spread food bone illness) Why tf did i receive potato wedges, when i did not order them? There was a little pancake cheesy potato thing is my steak breaky, again did not order that but yet it was in my meal, thanks but why?
Eggs, mushrooms, sausages, the sauce, bread was the only food i ate. I had to give the Deluxe sandwich in Turkish roll to my partner as you can imagine it was covered in spinach ,
