Unprofessional and rude. We are regulars at the Glen Waverley and Box Hill locations. Today, we walked in to have our late lunch. The place was not busy as we came after 3pm. While the waitress was taking the order from my husband, I remarked to my sons that there was smoke coming in as someone was smoking right in front of the restaurant, and we were seated close to the door. Before one of my sons could shut the door for us, this waitress rolled her eyes, huffed in an angry manner, and left to close the door. Her actions were so obvious, my 3 kids noticed and were shocked. She came back and still looked extremely annoyed. We then asked her what the problem was, and she said that it is annoying for us to speak all at once when she was taking the order. I told her that I was talking to my sons, not her, but in any case her attitude was not respectful. She replied that we could order from another staff then, and proceeded to throw one of the menus on to the next table. Well, a new waiter came and he was so nice, apologised for her erratic behaviour. We asked him who the manager was, and he revealed that it was her! (Very sorry for him at this point) While we were chatting to him, she had a frown on her face the whole time (according to my kids) and was playing on her phone. Well, needless to say, we didnt have our meal there. So, pls save yourself a horrible experience, there are heaps of great restaurants out there. We will continue to visit the Petaling St restos in Glenny, and Boxhill. As others have mentioned..head and shoulders above this one. To the waitress/ 'manager' Terry/Cherry, you clearly hate your job and it shows. Please remember that kindness and customer service...

🦐Prawn noodle soup: average in taste. Fish cake is tasteless, 5 prawns, can order this at weekdays lunch price point. I felt terribly thirsty after having the prawn noodle soup. Possibly MSG in this soup.
Hor Fun (full price): The portion of ingredients is generous: pork slices, fish cake, prawn, and squid. There's just adequate wok hei which suits me because I don't like the flavour to be too burnt. It tastes better than the Malaysian restaurant in Clayton Hotel. I wish that they use actual fish slices like Laksa King in Glen Waverley.
👏👏Lunch specials: 🐷Pig's offals noodle soup - delicious, no MSG, lots of ingredients, but no kidney. The pork liver is overcooked. Can order at lunch specials' price point.
Wanton noodle soup - no MSG, 4 wantons instead of 5 shown on the photo. Portion is a bit small. Don't order.
Pig's offals noodle dry. Delicious, same portions and type of offals as the soup version. But there's MSG in the soup. I felt very thirsty after eating it. The sauce in the flat noodle was tasty.
🐟Fish ball noodle soup. Delicious. No MSG in the soup. Portion is on the...

Detailed report is as follows :
Malaysian Pork Ribs with Fried Rice : Full on flavor and the ribs are deep fried and tempted with curry leaves and sauce, which has got capsicum in it.....Full marks for sauce and flavor of food but ribs is slightly over cooked but the catch is freid rice.....When you think fried rice, you get an instant pic which is rice fried with some veggies and egg but in this case, I felt it had hints of egg and that's it....Now this maybe okay but I gotta try seeing what actual fried rice Will be in their rice section.
I will come back to try the food again last two times, I have requested to make food spicy and the order taker has acknowledged while doing his thing on computer...Hope they understand service better and strive to acknowledge and match their actions....
I'm sure you guy's can do better and with this hope, I will return and hope get seriously...
