McDonald’s Bourke St West — Restaurant in Melbourne

I recently had the pleasure of indulging in a culinary experience at a this McDonald's where I savored the iconic Big Mac and sipped on a delightful Frozen Coke.

The Big Mac was a symphony of flavors that came together in perfect harmony. The two beef patties were cooked to a succulent medium and had a beautiful char-grilled crust that added a smoky depth of flavor. The crisp lettuce, cheese that was perfectly melted, pickles, and onions all added a refreshing crunch and tanginess that perfectly balanced the richness of the beef. The special sauce added a tangy sweetness that tied all the flavors together, much like a conductor leading an orchestra. The sesame seed bun was soft, fresh, and held all the ingredients together seamlessly.

The Frozen Coke was a wonderful surprise, a perfect companion to the Big Mac. The drink was made to order and was served in a tall cup, filled with crushed ice that was so cold it almost hurt my teeth. The flavor was spot on, and the consistency was smooth. It was the perfect thirst-quencher on a hot day, much like a tall glass of lemonade on a summer afternoon.

The service was outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive and quick. My order was taken with a smile and my food was ready in no time. The restaurant was clean, and well-maintained, much like a well-oiled machine.

Absolute Disaster

This is one of the most disfunctional Maccas I have ever been. Total disservice to whatever Maccas promises to deliver. While I totally sympathise with the staff on duty, I am surprised to see how the management has led the standards to deteriorate to this level. Here are a few issues to fix.

Barista’s are completely clueless and have literally no barista skills and don’t follow even the basics like giving the heads a wipe after rinse. The manager was mounting wet heads one after the other creating a horrible mess.

Speed - what maccas is renowned for absolutely nothing. They are overwhelmed by people ordering coffee. Given it’s a morning coffee capital. The crew on shift are not prepared and capable of handling the expected rush. 7am to 9am is expected peak time.

Ordering- the self serve pos has no paper so customers were left without receipt and didn’t know what’s the order number. At one stage there was 10 orders that was thrown in the bin because orders were delayed and customers left. Which is a shame.0

Hygiene- toilets were stinking and urinals leaking and unhygienic. Cleaning was pathetic.

I am sorry for being this critical but I hope someone at the top reads this and takes action. This is nothing against the staff or manager. Train and put the right people for the right session.

I hope because it’s too early in the morning or I order the time is around 10:45AM and the morning team staff not so sure how to make the LUNCH mEnU. Gosh … the only thing is the lady staff in the grey shirt I guess is the store in charge or … 💝 she worked so hard and the other staffs member were 3/4 sleeping sTILL.

Once AGain From now on … I know how to find the good Mc Doalnd if I want some Fast Food and usually I eat a lot of MC in my life , I guess the mACCA Victoria St can complete with this Burke St Mcca lol 😂

101% disapppointed 200% I learn how to use google to find the best of the best Mc .

Actually the Footscary mcca is very good very consistent and the service is very excellent , foods are very good too.

Last but the least ——- I know That Mate it’s Mc Donald why so fussy or why so snobbish or … whatever but I eat Mc Don Don Every day and I could say that I am vIP of Mc Donald lol
