This place has a major issues, clearly from the Mcdonald Corprate, the owner, down to the management, which reflects on staffs attitude. Why would they care if their managers clearly couldn't care less. Since Redrooster changed their Menu, we have been going there, not because we just prefer it. It's because we don't have to drive to Tullamarine McDonald's, and there is an option in Airport west now. Today, on a Friday Lunch time, I thought Haven't had Maccas in a while. . Friday, lunch time, ordered 2 meals, To my suprise I was the only One there, at peak friday.Yet I realise on the way out, Red Rooster drive thru, has a line built up going to the carpark. This used to be the Opposite. But people would still put up with APW Maccas, due to the inconvenience of going to Tullamarine was no other car but me. By the time I ordered, and got to the pickup window, and paid less than 20 seconds later, the drinks and food was ready. I should of seen the red flags, my fault. This place regardless of time, will make you wait. Got the order, and jump on the freeway. My fault for, coming here again and not checking the bag. I was in a rush. Every single thing in the bag was cold. Not warm enough, just cold, and cardboard like. Burgers, nuggets, and soggy chips. If I wanted noodles for chips I wouldn't be here. On top of all of that , both the chips have been put in upside down. Its a joke. I didn't know it's possible to be absolutely furious over a meal. But it almost feels like are they doing in this on purpose. Now I'm on the Feeway, and turning back is not an option. I dont want to waste my time, complaining to staff that clearly dont care, and is going to frustrate you even more. The fact they have no customers on a Friday, and they are not In a rush to get me out. Like they have customers to serve. There is no way the food has been sitting there to maccas standards. The staff are so lazy, they cook the food so long ago, and there being no customers, it's sits there, and they just put it in a bag within seconds. Don't mistake this for speedy service. It's because they have nothing to do Friday peak hour, but too lazy to make atleast fresh chips. The owners know and clearly see they are losing business. People just aren't going to go back. But they don't care. What I don't understand is. How is MacDonald's Corprate allowing this. Clearly so many of the Franchise terms are not met Cold food one thing, they are putting raw meat in burgers because they are so lazy and it's a circuit in there. Read moreIt's a McDonald's, it is a small shop that resides inside Airport West Shopping Centre. The seating/dining area is exceptionally clean and tidy as there are shopping centre staff who are meticulously keeping the customers dining area very clean and clear of rubbish. Thank god that this area is maintained by the shopping centre and not by McDonald's itself, because what I have witnessed behind the counter at this McDonald's is appalling. Behind the counter, on the counter and all over the floors in this McDonald's there are the obvious signs of neglect and it seems that no one has been keeping the premises clean for what looks like a long time. There are scraps of food debris stuck to the floor and different types of miscellaneous rubbish visible all over the place. The french fries preparation area looks grubby and it could do with a good wipe down and clean. The drive through in this McDonald's looks like a last minute afterthought and is cumbersome and awkward to drive through and use. On the upside, the staff were pleasant and polite, and orders were taken and filled quickly. Again it seems that McDonald's has trouble defining or understanding the terms...

I am a nice and empathetic person. I actually used to work at maccas and have been behind the lines - I know they get sick of people making up excuses to receive free food but this was so disappointing and really poor customer service.
I ordered 24 nuggets and large chips. Dropped all of it on the ground because the bag broke ( it already had a rip in it and I found when it was too late. This really annoyed me, assuming they would replace my order because the bag broke, I asked them politely. I was in a rush to go to work and reminded them of this, but still was patient and was nice about the situation as it’s just a bag , not their fault that the bags are weak etc.
The lady chatted with her manager for ages (15 minutes ) and I was left so confused and just told them I had run out of time. Why is it so difficult to replace the food? Now I won’t return based on this treatment. Really poor...
