Has to be the worst maccas in the area. Been once a week for the last month and every time something is messed up. Each time, one drive through lane is just not being served, even when people start getting fed up and trying to get attention. I’ve seen several people just drive up to the window and others yelling at the box for several minutes. An average time in the drive through is 10 mins, which I’m surprised hasn’t been picked up by the timers. Second time to last time, the guy at the window said my order had been put through because the car in front also had an online order and instead of any communication between staff members or the other customer, I saw them hand him my food then him hand it back and then hand it to me. The last time despite the new signage, the coffee and meal windows had clearly been switched back and instead of communicating this, the staff tried to hand me the wrong order twice and kept turning around and walking away while repeatedly saying what’s your order then. At no point waiting for an answer until she had no more orders to hand out. I’d already confirmed my order twice so not sure why that was so confusing. I’ve also had several times when cars should have been parked because there order wasn’t ready or they had additional requests that would take minutes and they were not parked. I had been in the drive through for 8 minutes and then was told to park when my order was ready just because the staff member couldn’t...
Read moreThe family was exicited to go to Mc Donalds but it went down hill from there. Wofe went off to the toilets which were dirty to the poi.t she walked out. Wasted alot of time trying to use the self serve machine which kept locking out and trust me i used every single one in the store. Orderd the family meal bundle and upsized one of the burger to the grand big mac as thats the size they should be as a big mac. Then paid and looked for a clean table and no clean tables although the resturant was only 30% full when i asked the manager for a clean table she said why i could not believe it and said i would like to enjoy my meal on a clean table please and she just turned away to get i e of the team mber to come out. Then we got the order after waiting 25mins so much for fast food. Then my grand big mac had burnt beef patties after the first bite had to return it.Spoke to the manager who look like she did not care why i was returning it and was quite rude about it aswell but gave it anyway. Then got back to the table and my wife and son mac chicken burger patties were hard and tasted like cardboard but ate it anyway as they could not bother waiting for a new burger. We walked out frustrated and disappointed will...
Read moreI visited McDonald's Epping around 15/02/2025, 6:30 PM with my 12-year-old son, and unfortunately, we witnessed a situation that was far from a happy meal. Two supervisors, who appeared to be of Indian origin, were loudly yelling at some of the younger female staff members right in front of customers, including families like ours. One of them had such a booming voice, it felt like they were trying to make a public service announcement, but it wasn’t quite the comedy show we were expecting.
The whole scene was more stressful than satisfying. My son was visibly disturbed, and it left both of us with a sour taste—though I’m sure it wasn’t from the fries. While I get that managing a team during peak hours can be challenging, there’s a better way to handle staff issues than turning the restaurant into an impromptu drama club.
Such behavior is a major turn-off for any family-friendly establishment, and it’s definitely not something you want to see while enjoying a burger. I hope McDonald's Epping takes this feedback seriously and works on fostering a more respectful and supportive work environment. After all, customers should be able to chow down in peace, not become unwilling spectators in a...
