This is one of the better McD's in the area. Food was fast, hamburgers weren't dried out (like at the one at Forsyth & Sayers), and the oil for the fries was freshly changed, so the fries tasted good.
The staff was friendly, and the flat panel menu/ordering machines not only worked correctly, but printed receipts!
While other McD's in the area seem to only care about cost cutting, these guys are also trying to maintain quality, and it's showing enough that normal customers like us can notice the difference.
UPDATE: the ordering machines don't print receipts anymore. :-(
UPDATE 2: still no receipts. Staff pretended that the paper "just ran out". And while I haven't made a scientific study of it, the prices seem nearly double from a year ago (probably a problem with ALL McDs). The "new" McGriddles are good, but hardly new, they've been a permanent menu item in the US for over 25 years! Maybe in another decade or so we'll get the McBiscuit sandwiches (another 25+ years continuously in the US menu) with an all new claim of begin "new!".
NO LONGER RECOMMENDED (due to...

Read moreThis is rather a feedback that is for all McDonalds in the nearby vicinity of this outlet as well, namely Point Cook (both Stockland shopping centre and opposite Sanctuary Lakes Shopping centre), Wyndham Waters, etc. You go here expecting this place to be a "fast food outlet" and to get your order consisting simple/ basic food/drink item. For some reason though, in the recent 3-4 months, every time I drive through, I am asked to park aside in the waiting bay where I end up waiting 10-15 minutes. Three stars here is not exaggerated or being too critical, as one will get frustrated waiting everytime, even when on one occasion all I ordered was a "Large Fries". However, worst of the lot (or cherry on the (shit) pie goes to the Point Cook Sanctuary Lakes Macca's for having a manager who is happy to forget their customer service/hospitality based role and happy to join in with the other young staff members in having fun at the expense of the many waiting customers. Macca's must do some retraining for all the staff members, and they must do it as soon...
