Terrible. Ordered 1 small chips but had to wait 20 minutes. Even worse was the unprofessionalism of the staff. As I approached one of the staff to ask about my order, she sighed and rolled her eyes when she saw me, before I was asking anything. At that moment, I knew I was in for a ride.
The I asked her (mind you, I ignored her previous gesture, and was still asking in a normal way) where my chips was since it had been 20 minutes. Instead, she dismissed my issue, making excuses that they were busy, which I totally understood, it was lunch time.
But then, she did not say sorry a bit, instead was rudely staring back at me, as if I was the one who wronged her for bringing that up. How funny.
I would’ve been okay if it was really busy, but then less than a minute later, an order number after mine was called and it was a large order, which didn’t make any sense, but only showed that they somehow skipped/missed my order.
When my order came, and that same staff was just handing it out my order in a very unapologetic way, kind of shoving the bag and making a mocking gesture to show that I was wrong for raising the issue. It was so funny I wish other people saw her childish demeanor. I’ve never encountered a staff in any restaurant being ‘sassy’ when they were clearly in the wrong. Very unprofessional.
The fries was alright. Did not worth the 20 minutes wait. Or maybe I just already lost the appetite after being treated poorly by that staff.
Maybe train your staff to be more polite to your...
Read moreI ordered the "Mo' Mex Salad". Whoever made this salad definitely hates salad. It's practically soup with the amount of mayonnaise on it, and the cabbage (as far I as I can tell underneath all that sauce) didn't taste very fresh. And the only "Mexican" thing about it was a small scattering of jalapeños. The listing on UberEats mentions lemon , tomato and tabasco as ingredients - none to be found in the actual salad. "Charred corn" was just regular corn, no observable charring. There was also, surprisingly, shallots ? Which might just be me, but that doesn't feel very Mexican to me. I genuinely thought they might have mixed up my salad with another, but I checked the UberEats menu again and it's the only salad on the menu. I won't lie, it was incredibly bland. The grilled chicken I added was nicely cooked but didn't do much to save the experience. I understand this is a burger place, but at this point you might as well just take the salad off the menu entirely; I genuinely can't imagine anyone enjoying this. I'm not usually much of a Karen - I used to work in a restaurant myself and can understand that everybody has their bad days, but this meal was just so disappointing and I really hope this isn't their usual standard for the salad, especially considering the majority of the reviews for this place...
Read moreOrdered 2 burgers in gluten free buns and double patty (paid extra for both these add ons), received normal buns and single patty on both. I'm glad I verified before walking away with my order, especially regarding the gluten free bun specification or it would have ended up pretty badly for me. I was more than happy to look beyond this error as they explained there was something wrong with their online ordering system that caused it (even though I could clearly see all these specifications on their computer in store!). Fair enough I thought, till I realised how underwhelming the burgers were. Stale bun, chunks of thick raw slices of onions, dry patties, you'd probably find something better at a gas station in the middle of a highway. Also ordered the buffalo chicken wings with mofo hot sauce and ranch dressing (this is what it says on the menu) but the actual item received was a box of stale fried chicken wings with 2 drops of their special "mofo hot sauce" and no sign of any ranch dressing. I've seen a lot of very positive reviews here and they might very well be true, im just speaking from my experience which was disappointing (at the very best). Maybe the cook was in a bad mood while they were preparing my order. Either ways, I'm probably never going back...
