If it was just one thing, it would have been four stars. Unfortunately when it is 3 things it knocks the cafe down to two stars. However, maybe these three things will be fixed by your next visit.
Hot Chocolates are inconsistent - Not a big deal, I know. But when you go there the first time and the hot choc was awesome and the second it is pretty average, I guess you want it like the first time.
Charged for a swap - I know lots of places do this, but the good ones do not. In this case I asked if it was ok to make a swap, they said yes. So I assumed they would not charge me. If they said they were going to charge $5 for the swap, I would have said no, just minus then. Still not a great outcome, but still better than trying to hide it from us.
Prices are quite high - This is fine if the service and food reflects this or if the location is premium. Unfortunately none of the above. I'm all for charging high prices, but then service and food must match it. Otherwise you're pretending to be up market when you aren't. Still, the food/ambience would be classed as great if it was in a very picturesque place or/and if it cost 25% less.
Your experience may be a lot better than mine, so feel free to rate them high or low depending on how you go. However, I still say that if you are going to charge higher prices, then you need to also be consistent so that 99% of the time everyone loves the food...
Read moreWe ate here tonight and were very impressed! Michael, our waiter, was outstanding, very welcoming, polite, and helpful with our dietary choices. Atmosphere was a vibe. The vegan menu was delicious and filling. The kids loved the pizza from the vegan kids menu, and we loved all of it. The Leaning Tower pizza was a 10/10. We’ll definitely be back.
UPDATE: We visited again tonight, a year after our first visit, and were thrilled to see Michael again! He not only recognised us but also remembered our names, and even what we ordered during our last visit over a year ago. His attention to detail and warm hospitality made the evening truly memorable. The rest of the staff were also friendly.
This time, we used Groupon vouchers for a group of six, and we mostly ordered from the vegan menu, which had changed slightly since our last visit but was still outstanding. The flavours and variety continue to impress us, and everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals.
We’re already looking forward to returning in the new year to try the new summer menu. Thank you for yet another amazing dining experience!

Read moreIf i end up becoming broke and obese, I have this place to blame. The food was absolutely phenomenal, I don’t promote obesity but I will just this once as I wouldn’t be too mad about becoming fat from here😏 For the entree me and my company endulged in the dips which we both felt skeptical on the what kind dips were presented but we were surprised with how extraordinary and beautifully presented and tasted. Literally 0 clue what the dips were but so very yummy and pretty colours😇. I had the gnocchi monte which was absolutely….bloody lovely🤌, although my bowels afterwards were crying for help they would happily be put through the pain again for this meal😫. My company had one of the pizzas and said it was perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection. Of course I also had to try it because I’m a pig (I’m not fat like one tho, yet anyways) , and I will stay a pig because I would eat that again. Unfortunately didn’t get to eat anymore of it because the plate was licked clean by the person across from me in a matter of minutes (possible exaggeration) (I don’t blame him tho) and I was already gaining weight from my own meal so I needed to tone it down. The beverages we got were juice and my oh my, so refreshing and yummy. Very delish indeed. I’m craving it rn actually. I rate the whole place 10/10 but with my company...
