Went on a Sunday evening and was surprised restaurant was choc a bloc. Able to sneak in to get a table within 10 minutes, which was good. Alot of take-ways being prepared and staff was at their toes. Menu presented and we are big fan of Nepalese Momo's which for us could have been the highlight but to my dismay it went a bit downhill. Chicken Momo : pic in photos, Momo's look good and the chutney they offered was a made for each other combo. But unfortunately the Momo's missed the mark ‼️ they were dry and lacked that juicy meat filling inside. Have been eating Momo's all my life and this absolutely could have been done alot better as being Nepalese restaurant, Momo's are like one of the main star of show, not this time 👎 Chilly Chicken : pic in photos, was absolutely delicious and prepared in very different way, which is very smart and hats off to make nail it so good, highly recommended and it's worth every penny. 👍 Chicken Noodles : pic in photos, good preparation and different taste, well balanced taste. Overall, it was okay as we're expecting more as per the reviews....If the portion size is so controlled, highly suggested that the management should look into with Chef's that why Momo's are so dry and maybe a clear soup alongside will do more wonder's. Service can be slow in peak times but that is not being accounted in this review as good food could have overcome that for us in past but sadly this was other way round.....Hope this review can be taken into account.

I recently visited this Indian and Nepalese restaurant, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, and the decor gave it an authentic touch. Moving on to the food, the dishes were nothing short of amazing. From the appetizers to the main course, every dish was bursting with flavor and spices. The tandoori chicken was cooked to perfection, with the right balance of spices and tenderness. The momos were simply delicious and were a hit among everyone at the table. The curries were rich, creamy, and full of flavor, and the naan bread was soft and fluffy. The service at the restaurant was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure that we had everything we needed. The restaurant was also very clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall dining experience. Overall, I would highly recommend this Indian and Nepalese restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food and a great dining experience. The food is authentic, flavorful, and reasonably priced, and the service is top-notch. I will definitely be visiting again soon!

The owner and head chef hails from Nepal. As a global traveller, I am a discerning diner with high standards. The food, service, atmosphere, and prices must be perfectly balanced. I have frequented this restaurant for the past decade, and not once have I been disappointed. Ram is Nepalese, and you won’t find an authentic experience like this anywhere else in Melbourne. It's a hidden gem and my favourite spot when I crave genuine Nepalese or Indian cuisine. There are no televisions, the lighting is just right, the artwork is thoroughly authentic, and the food is divine—delicious, fresh, and incredibly genuine. 😋 It takes a lot to earn my recommendation for both food and consistent service, but after more than ten years of dining here, Ram and your waiter, Anoop, have truly earned my highest praise! I highly recommend this place. Regardless of where you live in Melbourne, make sure to visit or order online! This restaurant is the real deal. Trust me, I know! I’m quite particular and don’t make recommendations lightly.

Update: Do not post lies about my experience. In response to your reply, we did speak on the phone twice. Once to your staff member and then once with the Manager on shift. On both calls your business was insistent there was no other alternative that you were willing to consider. After those 2 phone calls, Uber Eats called and processed a refund that will occur in 5-10 business days. Meanwhile, we were out of pocket for the dinner and my family still didn't get their meal. I don't understand the calls your business was trying to make to my phone afterwards? You were already very clear about not willing to come to a different arrangement, and there wasn't anything that can be done after the refund (that I won't get for at least a week). It was 8pm by the time this whole fiasco finished and I still needed to get dinner on the table.

Original Review: I would give them 0 stars of I could. I am a regular, well-paying customer, but the delivery person delivered to the wrong address. The restaurant gave me excuses of why they could not send out another order, but honestly, if you care about your customer you'd figure out a way. Not worth the pathetic experience and I definitely will not...
