August 2023 first time here. Walked pass on the way back to the car park after lunch and thought might as well have a second lunch since it’s $10 a plate! Ordered two pork cutlets with rice and salt pepper fried pork fritters and tomato paste rice. Both came with a soup and a small bowl of chilli fish sauce. Clean and tidy place with three waiters. Owner/cashier seems nice and the young waitress was speedy at clearing tables and delivering food to at least 20 people during peak hour. I was full after the two dishes and very satisfied with the cheap price. Bring cash!!!! Pork chop and broken rice with fish sauce. The chops, aptly named grilled pork, is pan fried to save time and serve promptly for lunch breaks. Had a hint of lemon grass and the flavour was balanced without being salty or overly sweet. The broken rice was steamed well and not too dry and grainy. The sly pepper pork fritter pieces was delicious and crispy. Despite having trouble with braces on the pieces of bones within portions served was pleasant to chew on. The tomato paste rice was soft and retain its starchiness. The salad side dish matched the dish to cleanse the palate between the fried pieces of meat. The flavour is similar to most restaurants around with this dish. Overall, I call it labourers meal as it’s cheap and does it’s job; fills you up. I would definitely come back and try the other dishes on their menu and also compare their pho to my recent favourite at Le Feu in Springvale. Come support the locals. These guys are doing an amazing job and way cheaper than my other eateries I haunt. Thank you for the food!

Travelled 12 hours to Melbourne to spend the New Year with my family. Experience was greatly dampened by my dine in here. Upon being seated, waitress communicated with children in Vietnamese; despite visible confusion, no attempt was made to find somebody who understood Viet. Waitress then left, leaving entire family confused. Poor waitressing overall with arrogant and unfriendly staff who refused to admit wrongs and blamed customers for undelivered meals; cannot take accountability. Did not deliver meals; simply placed them at end of table with no communication. Menu misleading, stating items to be grilled when they came out fried. Majority of cockles were off and therefore inedible, or cracked, posing a danger—family member cut their mouth on cracked shell. Air conditioning was not properly working on a 35°C day. Toilets unsanitary, had to provide own toilet paper, and also used as storage for cleaning products. Toilet positioned directly in front of garbage can—disgusting (see image). At end of meal, was delivered incorrect bill. Will never return. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

- waiter repeatedly attempted to speak to us in Vietnamese despite us attempting to speak in English, making no effort to speak in English or find someone that could speak to us - took 45 mins to make a smoothie, which came out slowly one at a time - tried to gaslight us into believing we did not order something, the waitress blamed us instead - bad service, waitress quite arrogant and has poor communication - some pipi’s were broken and some were even off (they were closed even after cooking), we were consuming shells, I cut my tongue on one. - restaurant really hot for some reason? Very poor air conditioning, a stranger next to me was also complaining about the heat - pho had poor broth for the cost - gave us the wrong bill at the end of it all

The experience at this restaurant was absolutely infuriating from start to finish. I specifically came here because I was looking forward to trying the egg and avocado smoothies—something simple that they advertise on their menu. Yet, despite ordering it clearly and waiting patiently, it never arrived. How does a restaurant fail at delivering a basic item from their own menu? It’s beyond ridiculous and shows a complete lack of competence, care, or organization.

The staff might have been polite, but that doesn’t matter when the main point of a restaurant—serving what customers actually order—is completely ignored. What’s the point of being open for business if you can’t even handle fulfilling a straightforward order? It feels like they just don’t care about the customer experience or about providing what they promise.

I wasted my money and my time expecting something worthwhile, and instead, I left angry, hungry, and feeling completely let down. The egg and avocado smoothies were the entire reason I came, and the fact that they couldn’t even get that right overshadows anything else about this place.

This wasn’t just disappointing—it was a complete failure. I’ll never set foot in this restaurant again, and I’ll make sure everyone I know avoids it as well. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that actually values its customers. 1 star is the absolute maximum this place deserves, and even that feels...

I used to frequent this restaurant quite often however my latest experience halts me from ever considering coming here again. My family and I ordered pipi’s yet a majority came broken and closed. It felt like my tongue was getting sliced with every bite. Shards resided in the pipi. The lack of air conditioning made my experience at this restaurant terribly unpleasant. They are inefficient in the way in which they work. Having ordered 4 smoothies, they made them one by one delivering them at a snails pace. The broth lacked significant taste and did not surpass my expectations.

The workers gaslighted a family member of mine, trying to manipulate us into thinking we did not order a dish when we did and refused to accept responsibility and take accountability for her mistake. Her mistake cost my family member to not eat lunch.

When going to pay the bill, they gave us the wrong bill intended for another table. The lack of good service and communication skills is another area in which they lack.

Whilst I give them the benefit of the doubt that they lack workers and therefore are doing the best they can, they must accommodate better for their customers. Needless to say I will not be spending my money at this restaurant anymore and I hope...
