Just 5 mins walk from the Monash Campus, the Mr. Sister Cafe is a laid back place and has a dog-friendly setting. We reached around 11:45 and it was almost empty since the brunch time was about to be over. There was a lot of space to sit, even had high chair seating as well. We decided to sit in the dining area at the back. The staff were very welcoming and always had a smiling face for my camera. We ordered the Smashed Avacado, Potato Rosti, and Zucchini Fritters from the all-day breakfast menu. The quantity was very much enough to fill our hunger pangs. The Smashed Avacado is a vegetarian option right out of the menu and you can add bacon for $4. It also comes in a gluten-free option. There was two medium size toast with smashed avo on top of it. I loved the combination of beetroot hummus. The Potato Rosti, all three of us liked this the most. The pulled beef was yum and the best part was the caramelized apple butter. I find this puree as something so delicious and it went well with all our dishes. I would not be hesitant to ask for more. The Potato Rosti, without a doubt, is a must try in Mr. Sister Cafe. I ordered the Zucchini Fritters and it was fried to perfection. Pistachio and mint pesto was good. I am not a big fan of peas. The lemon labneh, wish it was sweet since I love things being sour and sweet. We were almost about to finish the brunch and out of nowhere bees began to fly near to our food. I guess they also liked the food and its aroma. Fun aside, it was the only bad experience and we even had to change our seating to get rid of the bee attack. The staff obviously couldn't do anything because there were other guests and spraying chemicals will be a bad idea. Overall, it was a good experience and we would love to visit. I wish the smoothies were less expensive and the menu had more non-vegetarian options. The staff was very courteous and kind. Keep up the good work guys.

Nice little nische place with plenty of seating. Liked the idea of little blankets they provided on the chairs if needed. I ordered a Benedict with pulled pork with potato rosti and asparagus on the side. Not enough hollandaise sauce, left the rest to be pretty dry. My partner had the chicken waffle and he said it was really dry with no sauce at all. If there was some sauce with it, it would of been good. Hot chocolate was average even with extra chocolate added into it. The chai latte was good.

Went there a bit late, around 2:10,, lucky we still hv 15mins to order. Love the environment, really chill and relaxing. There are 4~5juices on the menu, but only OJ can be offered. Iced chocolate is small and no cream n ice cream but make sense ,coz it's only $5.5 I had the mr Benedict which is good but i felt something missing, but i can tell at that moment. When i look back the photo , i know whats missing😂the hollandaise sauce I would rate a 4 stars if i can hv the juice and hollandaise sauce

Extremely Disappointed. My boyfriend and I came here looking forward to have some great food but unfortunately we were severely let down. Their menu needed updating online as we were very much excited to try the lemon meringue waffles listed in their menu online, however this item was replaced with a blueberry cheesecake waffle in the store menu and when asked if we could substitute the marscapone which I was allergic to with ice cream they did not have any in stock despite it being 10am. Subsequently, we chose to order the potato rosti dish listed instead, and to our great surprise was then told that they did not have any potato rosti's available - which was rather baffling as it was after all the main component of the dish and this was not at all hi-lighted to us in store until after we had ordered. To top it all of, when asked if we could add something else to this rosti dish seeing as there was no potato rosti available - they expected us to pay extra for the substitution that they themselves had caused when more than half of the dish listed on the menu wasn't even available in the first place despite us pointing that out to them. We gave up, and when asked if we could pay for the matcha latte's that we had ordered and leave, it was a firm no with them explaining that they had probably already begun preparing the dish my boyfriend had ordered even though I had been prevented from finalising my order. We were essentially forced to wait for the food to arrive as the staff were in no way complying to any of our requests to cancel the order. The dish that arrived was reasonable however our matcha latte's were an additional let down being clumpy with at least 1cm worth of matcha clumps in the bottom of the opaque glass. Overall, it was extremely unfortunate that this was the case as brunch is always something to be looked forward to but the unwilling nature and arrogance of this venue will unfortunately...

Went this morning. Wife went in to order and was told to wait outside for table service. No real greeting or energy. After a while the waitress brought menus and took our coffee order. Twice I stipulated "hot" cappuccino. She left and went inside. We waited a little while whilst they pumped out many take aways, breathing the foul cigarette smoke from a take away coffee customer only metres from front door and not the required distance. Waitress returned with coffee. We had decided to not eat breakfast now as our coffees would be well and truly finished WAY b4 we saw any food. The coffee was luke warm. Straight down the hatch. Very disappointing. It felt like there was zero care factor. Unimpressed. Too many places nearby getting it right to return. I notice the Owner replied this morning, as will I. It was not the long weekend. It was Tues morning quite early. The Cafe was almost completely empty. A slow take away coffee demand. No "pump" present mate. Just...
