Very nice xinjiang food - loved the flavourful lamb skewers and the hand pulled noodle and chicken. We asked for spicy and they definitely gave us the true xinjiang spice :’) We were crying eating it but to be fair we did ask to go all the way. As good if not better than the xinjiang places at Box Hill. Unassuming restaurant and very good value for money also for portion size.

Pretty amazing food and totally different too the usual Chinese food I have eaten! The pulled noodles is a must try. Staff was helpful. We can't here for the pumpkin dumplings unfortunately they didn't have any so we end up with other things like vegetarian dumplings, pancakes, lamb pulled noodles etc, all of them were great. A must try Chinese places in Melbourne!

Good food in an unassuming place. We were eyeing this place for a while, and when the opportunity presented itself we went. Admittedly, I ordered based on the strengths of the regional cuisine... Skewers, hand made noodles, lamb, and I wasn't disappointed. Well done.

If I could give Zero out of 5, I would. Menu link goes to a city version showing things the Waverley Rd version does not have. That turns out to be the minor issue. Person taking the order was not language competent. I understand english is difficult and their english was better than my mandarin, but the difference is that they are in a public-facing role. I pointed to what I wanted for main dish and said the name. They wrote the number on the order pad. But despite me saying the name, they wrote the wrong number - and of course I failed in what had become my responsibility to check. Which means the main ended up being 10 small pieces of batter full of tiny fish bones. Went in the bin after 2 attempts to eat. And it was expensive That was my experience, you may have better - hope so! I won't be looking to give a second chance. This was...

Ordered 水煮鱼砂锅 (Fish fillets, vegetables, and vermicelli noodles in hot and spicy oil), 猪肉饺 (Pork and vegetables dumplings 15pcs), and 过油肉拌面 (Handmade noodles with twice fried stir fried lamb and vegetables) for lunch on a Saturday. Total 42.40 AUD. The service was very quick, the food was delivered to our table within 5 minutes of ordering. The portion was good and the staff were helpful. However all of the dishes were underseasoned, this was disappointing because coming in to a Xinjiang cuisine restaurant, we were expecting bold flavors. The highlight was the FREE homemade yogurt that you'll get if you spend more than 30 AUD and...

Want to try this restaurant for very long but after the first try I was so disappointed. We're order for take away but this was the first time I heard someone charge for the takeaway box for takeaway order. Was assuming the food are nice and tasty but they made the dished that not under my expectation. The Szechuan chili deep fried chicken it wasn't deep fried but with gravy. They charging $18 but just a few pieces of chicken, that's way too expensive than what it should be. Wasn't a really good experience and I don't think I will spend money at that...
