Subject: Feedback Regarding a Disappointing Experience
I recently visited Ms Parker on 9th January 2025 during your happy hour and felt it was important to share my experience, as it fell below the standard I would expect.
We arrived at 5:30 PM and were led to the lounge, where a waiter initially greeted us and offered water. However, the waiter never returned, and as happy hour was approaching its end, we had to go to the bar to place our drink order.
We ordered three margaritas and confirmed that both the regular and spicy versions were included in the happy hour menu. Unfortunately, the drinks we received were undrinkable, as they lacked sugar syrup, a crucial ingredient to balance the flavors. When we raised this issue, the waiter returned with a jug of sugar syrup, but the drinks were not remade, which would have been the appropriate solution.
Later, we ordered two spicy margaritas at 5:49 PM. These drinks were properly made and tasted much better, but when the bill arrived, we were charged significantly more than expected. We were informed that some drinks were paid for after happy hour, which we disputed, as the orders were placed before 6 PM. Additionally, we were told that the spicy margaritas were more expensive—something that was not mentioned upfront or reflected on the menu.
We were not provided with a physical bill, making it difficult to verify the charges. Despite raising our concerns, we felt pressured to pay the full amount without satisfactory resolution.
This experience was extremely disappointing. I would like to request a review of our bill and an explanation for the charges. Additionally, given the poor service and miscommunication, I believe compensation is warranted for the inconvenience we faced.
We have been looking forward to our visit for some time and we were beyond disappointed.
I look forward to your response and hope to see improvements in your service...
Read moreMs Parker is one of Richmond’s most elegant and contemporary dining spots — a restaurant that feels sophisticated without ever being pretentious. From the moment you walk in, the space has a polished, stylish energy: modern décor, warm lighting, and an atmosphere that makes it perfect for both special occasions and relaxed nights out.
The food is exceptional. The menu is modern Australian with creative flair, and every dish feels carefully thought out and beautifully presented. Seasonal ingredients are celebrated in a way that highlights both flavour and freshness. Whether it’s small plates to share or larger mains, there’s a sense of balance and refinement across the whole menu. The quality is consistently high, and you get the impression the kitchen really cares about delivering something memorable.
The drinks list is just as impressive. The wine selection showcases both local and international bottles, and the cocktail menu is creative, fun, and perfectly matched to the food. The bartenders clearly know their craft, and every drink feels like it’s been made with real care.
Service at Ms Parker is outstanding. The staff are attentive, professional, and knowledgeable, always happy to explain dishes or suggest pairings. They strike just the right tone — polished and efficient, but also warm and approachable.
The venue itself is stunning. The fit-out is modern and elegant, with clever design touches that make it feel intimate while still buzzing with atmosphere. It works equally well for a dinner with friends, a date night, or even a larger group celebration.
What I love most about Ms Parker is the consistency. Every visit delivers the same high standard of food, drinks, and service, making it one of those places you can always rely on for a great night.

Food is actually 5* but this is a 1* star review because the service staff make the entire experience one I hope to forget as soon as possible.
Been here over 10 times. Introduced 15 different people to the restaurant.
Started with such promise.
Degraded to the worst service you could wish to avoid.... and I will never ever be returning.
Whilst the kitchen is magnificent, the service staff led by Tim are the most disappointing collection of pompous unwelcoming, unfriendly people you could ever expect to meet.
Every time we avail ourselves of the excellent quality from the kitchen we are made to feel less welcome. We were explicitly told that we are taking advantage. What? Being a regular visitor makes us persona non gratis.
If you can easily submit to appalling service or if you are a resident at the Motley then its a good choice.
The overt hostility for regulars from Tim and co is like nothing ever experienced before. We dine often .. at least 3 days a week and I am truly appalled by this group of people.
Such a tragedy for such a talented kitchen. The chef is being wasted here.
Shame zero isn't available.
Goodbye to Tim, the rude and mean nameless English...
