Went here on weekend saturday 8june around 7 plus pm. I don't if I will describe it busy or not. Why? I came with my daughter to have dinner. The usual Nandos, it says, "please wait to be seated". Which we dud and wait for someone to attend to us. A group of men came and waited together with us. 10-12 minutes have passed, no one is attending to us. The waiter is busy serving the food. The manager (not sure if she is a manager but she's the one who's helping to pack the food) saw us but didn't do anything. The 2 men who already inside to dine in, went to counter. One staff attended to them to get their order. While their ordering, I interrupted in a respectful and friendly way, I asked the staff, "I'm sorry can we just come inside and find a table to dine in or we will wait here"? She said, "IF YOU WANT you can go find a place to sit. So my daughter and I just went in and settle ourselves. The next group behind us stood still and waited to be called, maybe for 2 minutes then looks like they just went in as well and find a table. Ordering time. I don't know if it's just me... but I have a very simple order. 2 dine in and 1 take away. I ordered the take away first. Very simple. I just want a 1 whole chicken and 2 large side dish included. So I clarify " Is this correct, 1 whole chicken with 2 large side dish included? She said yes these are the side dishes you can choose". "OK, good! So for my take away, I'll get 1 whole chicken with 2 large chips." Then she said something again bout the side dish which I don't understand! So I repeated myself again in details. I want 1 whole chicken with 2 large chips as side dish. For the chicken I want it peri peri hot and for the chips, one is hot peri peri and the other one is normal. No flavour or special seasoning, just Salt. Then she said something about my order and I don't really understand it. So I just said "yes". Then I ordered the dine. I ordered mine, then I ordered the kids meal. The kids meal includes 1 side dish either chips or corn. Which is is fine. So I said, I want a kids meal Tenders in bbq sauce with chips and on top of that I want to add an extra side dish corn. And she said she can't do that. So I asked why? I'm not asking it for free I can pay extra for the corn. She said, it doesn't apply in the system? So I was like huh? It's an extra side dish which is charge separately. Then she asked her I don't know supervisor or manager. The asian girl who's helping to pack food and plating the food. Then she comes back and said it will be an additional charge. It's my first time to dine at Nandos Princess Highway and unfortunately it was a bad experience. 👎 I don't know why it's sooo complicated to order. I don't know if it's because it's too loud or what???? And, the fact that the manager already saw us waiting, I felt we were ignored and she doesn't care. I don't find her friendly too never smile while asking for my takeaway when we are about to leave. I want to give the benefit of the doubt that they are stressing out. The only good thing I experience on that was the staff who served our food. He was really nice. Give a happy approach. The chips by the way are sooo salty. It was too much peri peri hot seasoning. Overpowering in other words. Do I recommend this? With what I...

We had a very disappointing experience at Nando’s during our visit. As usual, we ordered one of the meal deals, and after receiving our order, we began eating. While we were eating, one of the waitresses approached us and informed us that we had been served the wrong food. She asked to take one of the dishes back. We kindly agreed, understanding mistakes can happen.
However, this didn’t happen just once—it happened three times. Each time, without making a fuss, we let them correct the mistake.
Then, in the middle of our dinner, another waitress named Mala approached us. Instead of politely handling the situation, she began questioning us and blaming us for not checking our order, saying it was our fault. She was very impolite in her tone.
Shockingly, she came again while one of my colleagues was still eating and took two dishes from our table without asking, as if it was normal to remove food mid-meal. She repeated that it was our responsibility to check the order, which was completely unfair.
My questions: • Were the dishes she took from our table served to another table after we had already started eating? • How is it the customers’ responsibility to double-check the order, especially when we’re hungry, trusting the staff to serve us correctly?
We came to Nando’s for a pleasant meal, but instead, we left in the middle of our dinner, upset and uncomfortable. Thank you for ruining what should have been a wonderful evening.
Special mention to Mala — your customer service was far...
Read moreMy husband and I ordered food from here the other day, first he had to go back as they had forgotten to put our chips in the bag (the two workers just blamed one another so already seeing a lack of professionalism). Then we gave our toddler their usual lemon and herb kids meal only for it to be spat out while they tell us it’s spicy. We tried it and it definitely was. We contact Nandos online immediately as we didn’t want to make another return trip and we also had to find a quick alternative dinner for our child. Anyways a lot of going back and forth but the kicker is that they wanted a photo of the spicy chicken and going by the photo they confirm it was lemon and herb, I can only laugh at the stupidness of people at head office. So no responsibility for burning my toddlers mouth or even an apology for wasting our time in going back for the chips. My husband and I ordered a hot chicken so somewhere along the lines they have mixed things up regardless of Nando’s regulations. I think a visit by the health department is in order as clearly something is amiss. I would be interested to know if there are new owners or if the store is run by head office as it has gotten really bad as the last few times they don’t even read our...
