Nando's Westfield Airport West — Restaurant in Melbourne

I was leaving Westfield shopping centre when I saw the Nandos store at the exit of the centre and thought I would grab a quick takeaway I entered the store approximately around 2 pm where there were no waiting customers and an empty of diners I waited patiently at the counter. A female staff member approached me and asked if I was eating in or wanting takeaway I replied takeaway and she instructed me to scan my order I didn’t understand what she meant and she pointed towards a sign with a bar code And said scan your order I asked scan how with what my credit card? She just walked back into the kitchen and left me confused The other male staff member approached at the counter and said I’ll take your order and I replied forget it it’s too hard to eat here and walked away

It’s bad enough you no longer accept cash but it’s pathetic you expect customers to know how to order when they’ve never done it before . No wonder the store was empty . Probably left the store confused like myself . Rude and unhelpful service and I won’t...

First visit to this location and I am bitterly disappointed. The customer service at the ordering counter was great, the staff member was bubbly and repeated my order to make sure she had it correct. In my case, the issue with this place is the kitchen. Tonight ordered takeaway - a W.T.F meal which includes a drink, quarter chicken, 4 ribs and chips plus ordered coleslaw, spicy rice and an extra quarter leg piece. After waiting 1/2 an hour for the meal, admittedly they were flat out, I got home to find out the meal was wrong. They had given me NO RIBS and had instead substituted it with a thigh piece of chicken without advising me. I had ordered the ribs in BBQ but instead the chicken piece was mild seasoning. The other piece I had ordered came correct seasoning but no leg piece unfortunately. The spicy rice was flavourless - the worst I have tasted. Coleslaw was good with dressing light. Overall a below average...

The food here is great usually, however today

My order received and delivered to my table in a timely manner

However upon receiving I noticed the flag said mild not hot as ordered

I had also noticed that whilst waiting for my meal the staff gossiping and talking whilst customers waited at the counter, to which 1 left without being served (at least 4 staff working)

Upon receiving my order I pointed out the fact someone left without being served and then in the same minute the below happened

Then again whilst eating my meal I saw a customer get to the counter and get asked “dining or take away” his response was “die in” he was told to order from the table / WR code, clearly he wanted to ride face to face after waiting in the line

He too left the establishment without ordering
