I don't know if this is how all Oportos are nowadays or if it's just the Fountain Gate one, but today I was served a Strips n Chips Pack that was more like a Blobs n Buckets Greasy Bag. They didn't serve it in the nice little box that keeps it neat when eating, the chicken was messy, oily, greasy malformed blobs that had obviously been deep-fried rather than grilled, served in a second bag inside the main bag through which they were swiftly leaking, and the wooden fork I was given snapped immediately. About the only thing that worked out okay was the chip bucket they threw in there. Will not be eating there again, and will be watching the output at any future Oporto establishments I might peruse before buying. Read more26/2/22 Was served the toughest, dry chicken qtr and soggy chips. Took it back and was told by the manager that they were following the recipe. No apologies OR offer to replace with another dish. I left the food at the counter for them to do whatever they pleased. Wasted $15. Oporto what you have to remember is that you are not the only halal chicken outlet. KFC across from you is halal and there were 100s of people at their counter. Will be talking to consumer affairs on Monday.
