Friday night, it was busy, but the serving lady was serving quite quick so one would assume staff is competent and fast knowing it’s busy and Friday. I ordered my “meal” and was happy to wait 20 minutes max. After 35 minutes I asked if maybe I’d missed if they called out my name, but was told no my meal was coming. After 50 minutes I’d had enough and asked the serving girl if it was even coming. She went and grabbed my meal within a minute. 50 minutes is insane. The kitchen capacity needs to be doubled and so does the staff. A heads up on wait times isn’t hard either. So many frustrated customers. Either upgrade the store or tell customers they will be standing for 50 minutes. After all that, I was not given a drink or chips. Walked out because i had already had enough. Hope you’re happy with my money shnitz I won’t be coming back, even if this was a one off bad night, it’s not acceptable
Got home to eat the food with my beautiful girlfriend only to find all of our nuggets were burnt. $20 for 18 burnt nuggets is insane pricing compared to McDonald’s ir HJ, regardless if they’re burnt or not. And $1.30 for a dipping sauce the size of a Gatorade bottle cap is also mental pricing.
Also there was multiple times I saw your staff struggling to work and taking many time to stop and have a drink, clearly not good enough working standards for them, I felt sorry for the young girls who were working in a hot kitchen and couldn’t keep up with orders because the clear ack of staff, watched them smash down bottles of water before getting back onto the line making wraps. I wouldnt be surprised if they’ve been asking for more people to be on shift helping them. Up your care and...
Read moreThe food was good. However service was a big letdown. I ordered a wrap and when I asked the guy if pickles can be added and then asked him if they’re are an extra charge he said ‘everything is extra when you add something on’. I felt that was quite rude as some places don’t charge for certain extras. Or atleast they will specifically tell you about the extra cost which he failed to do until I specifically asked him. With the cost of living I don’t think one should judge if a customer is specifically asking what the extra amount is. I then waited a good amount of time and when I did receive my food I asked if they have any highchairs. He said they should be outside or in the corner. He pointed vaguely towards the outside direction. I found them in the corner. I had to squeeze through a table with customers to get the chair. The first chair was dirty aswell. I don’t mind getting my own highchair but I don’t appreciate the attitude under toning that I’m an inconvenience. It wasn’t even that busy and there was no line. The least he could’ve done was walked out and shown me the chairs closer since he couldn’t even see them either when he pointed towards the outside of the store. I usually am happy to get my own chairs and put them back always once I’m done.
Also there’s a serious trip hazard, floor is greasy near the pickup area. I definitely felt a bit of a racist undertone which is quite disappointing to say the least. I’ll stick to my local...
Read moreI’m a pretty frequent customer here and at schnitz in general, so I’m prepared for the sometimes lengthy waits (usually 15-20 minutes after ordering). However, today I had to wait 10 minutes in line to order because only one register was open (on a Saturday lunchtime I’m not sure why there wasn’t two open) and the staff member serving insisted on having a conversation with everyone who was ordering, making the wait in the queue especially frustrating and the queue eventually extended out past the door. After I finally ordered, I waited 30 minutes watching the staff behind the counter chat, instead of making any progress on any of the orders as they kept building up. Even when they began to assemble the orders, it was at a snail’s pace, and there was no hustle at all to try and speed up the making of the orders. It’s extremely frustrating, as a customer, to watch this happen as you are made to wait for 30+ minutes. After finally receiving my wrap, I discovered it was wrapped very loosely (disappointing because it’s usually wrapped nice and tight) and this was very difficult to eat and eventually led to the mayo dripping out the bottom, which is very messy. As someone who eats a lot of schnitz, I was very disappointed with the service and quality of the food which is usually at a...
