San Churro — Restaurant in Melbourne

Would Not go back there. I purchased Fiesta Churros with the six sauces, the girl put all the Hot Churros and sauces together in the same box. Got home and all the plastic containers with the sauces had melted from the hot Churros touching them. Sauces spilt everywhere, melted plastic contaminated everything. USE YOUR BRAIN NEXT TIME GIRLY! HEAT AND PLASTIC DON'T GO TOGETHER! When I phoned them to complain they didn't offer any replacement, just that they were going to pass it on to the manager. That just infuriated me so I said I'm on my way there for a fresh replacement, well they couldn't argue with that! It was also an inconvenience as I had to travel from Pakenham to fountain gate again and back. Two days later I get an email from the fountain gate store (manager) offering me a free gift card I can use in any other store for the inconvenience, all I had to do was give them my email address and they would process it within 48hrs, well, it's been 8 days since that email and I've received Nothing. I've sent them 3 emails chasing this up with no reply. What I don't understand is why would the manager ask for my email when obviously he already had it, he contacted me on it! I'm not holding my breath on this one obviously their onstore service and online service is the same LOUSY! DON'T RECOMMEND THIS STORE...

Will never be going back here again - disgusted.

I went there yesterday with my husband for a mocha and iced coffee.

Firstly, the iced coffee was nearly $10 and full of cream! There was barely any liquid with all the whipped cream. This isn’t even the worst part.

My mocha was served luke warm, on the verge of cold. I was watching the girls make it as they were dawdling so I was curious as to how much effort they placed in their work. They used a frother that was covered in dried chocolate, heated it up for not even 10 seconds I’d say and continued to make the drink.

Upon letting them know how cool the drink was , I walked off to give my husband his iced coffee while they ‘re-made’ my drink.

When I got back, they had just taken my drink out of the microwave. It was SCORCHING and undrinkable. I was told that it would be remade and was disgusted to know the method used to heat up my drink.

I then asked for a refund and was given my change in coins…

Absolutely terrible experience. Sad as we used to love going here for an enjoyable afternoon sweet treat. We also loved bringing outlets families over.

To begin with, the order taker was not paying attention to us. Stopped mid way to have a conversation with another staff member and wasn’t very friendly (think this is the reason our order was messed up as per below)

Ordered 2 iced chocolates, one with skinny milk. Came out with one iced chocolate and an iced coffee. Told them it was meant to be 2 iced chocolates so they took the coffee away without clarifying if the iced chocolate we received was the full cream or skinny milk one. I went up to the counter to clarify and they said it was the skinny milk one, but I had a severe reaction not even an hour later so I believe they may have gotten it confused.

Also ordered the churros and fruit for 2 and they didn’t bring out the fruit initially and the churros were very cold. Eventually brought out the fruit when I reminded them. They were not apologetic about the mishaps and weren’t very friendly in their service.

The churros still tasted nice, but wouldn’t go again due to the poor service. For the price you pay, I would have expected...
