Being voted The Best New Bar in Melbourne 2018 is a huge accomplishment considering all the work that went into the bar, the cocktails are sophisticated and made with elegance, the staff have been trained well and know what they're doing. The pool table is also one of the best in the area, not to mention the Mexican food from Little Latin Lucy a definite 10 out of 10!

Located in Collingwood Melbourne, Paradise welcome anyone with open arms, they do not discriminate against anyone and raise money for local charities every Wednesday, to me this a testament of the owner's kind heart and character.

It's located underneath the Backwoods art gallery and a part of a local community that consists of While You Sleep Printing , Design and Art Studios, a cafe/deli, an excellent Vintage store and a motorcycle workshop.

I think it's fantastic that this entire space is giving back to the local community!

The atmosphere was all over the place, it was too loud for a place to have dinner and a conversation, yet too un-lively to be a club. The staff were rude, it took my partner 15 minutes to get served as the bar staff kept ignoring her while people pushed in front. I heard another staff member aggressively threaten a patron with a 'Fine for not wearing a mask' while the chap was in the process of putting his mask on. This has become a new favourite! We were actually there to visit the art exhibition at Backwoods Gallery and decided to stay for a drink and some nibbles. The atmosphere is so relaxing both inside and out. We sat in the lane way, which had a nice breeze to cool us down. The food was incredible. We started with the homemade prawn crackers, corn tosada, and fillet of fish! Which were so yummy that we also tried the chicken hearts and were offered their version of prawn toast to try, and oh my, was that a taste sensation!
