Pete's Charcoal Stop — Restaurant in Melbourne

I incredibly rude customer service. Would blatantly ignore you without acknowledging your presence. I simply left my phone in his Uber the last night and he made it almost impossible to retrieve it back. He does not have the mindset to help people and would just give an excuse like im busy when there is no one in the shop and he can’t simply say im busy he would just ignore you and not answer you. Do not go to this shop.

I left my phone in his uber the night before and he was so rude and made everything so much harder and worse than what it needed to be. I went to the chicken shop and experienced this as customer service inside the chicken shop. I'm a 55year old bloke who has lived on my own most of my life so realy on take away for a lot of my meals ,yes I'm a lazy bugger,but kebabs are one of my favourite foods and what I had at peter charcoal stop today is as good as I have had since the late 1980s in king cross . I will definitely be going back time and time again providing the standard remains the same as for the negative reviews, I don't understand, we all have bad days and people deserve a chance. Easily one of the best souvlaki places in Melbourne! I have only been here a handful of times but the high quality of food and their excellent customer service have been consistent.

The souvlaki was generously packed with chunky, tender and juicy pieces of lamb, served in a warm and fluffy pita bread. The chips were cooked to order, so it came out fresh and well seasoned. The gravy was divine and so flavourful that paired well with the hot chips! The staff were very friendly everytime I visit.
