I wanted to love this because the old place that was here (Noodle Sushi Bar) was my go to. Quite disappointed in the wonton soup. Normally it came in a white plastic bowl that has enough for 2 days, not so now, the container was a small clear plastic one with a salty broth (too salty in my opinion) and 4 generous wontons - they were lovely. Would I order it again - probably not. The Bahn Mi was pleasant - was it the best I've had - no but it was nice (albeit 2 very large rubbery pieces of pork we had to take out). I think there is lots of room for improvement and I will keenly watch this space to see how it unfolds.
Pho 2 is a suburban gem! The quality they dish out here is so impressive, you’d otherwise have to brave the urban chaos to find anything comparable. Their Rice Paper rolls are a standout—generously sized, freshly made, and packed with vibrant, fresh ingredients. The Banh Mi? Bursting with flavor in every bite. The Vegetable Pho is another highlight, loaded with a generous heap of fresh vegetables and topped with crisp spring onions. Plus, they’ve got a ton of vegan options—pretty much anything on the menu can be veganized, which is a huge win. Needed a pho fix after arriving in Melbourne at 7pm. Needed something close to the airport. The pho was really good, maybe a little sweet for my tastes but it was still good. They didn't skimp on my beef. The home made dumplings with soy sauce were delicious!! Also got some spring rolls for the 1 hr drive to the hotel, pretty damn good as well.
