Good street parking - Interesting Vietnamese restaurant - first impression walking in - the front door mat looked dirty, worn & 100 years old, we were hesitant about walking in, the windows were dirty, gave me the impression that this place looked & felt unclean. The space itself looks like an old fish & chip shop with the fryers to the side. I sited 3 heaters in the place - none of them were on, it was freezing. The waiter came to us & gave us a note pad & pen to write the numbers for our order then come up to register with said notepad to order & pay?!? (Interesting concept) We were brought over some very small paper cups & a bottle of water. Not many gf options, I opted for flat rice noodles (thinking they’d be gf) only to be told that they contained wheat flour as well (don’t call them rice noodles) I opted for a laksa with tofu & veg, it had minimal veg & the tofu was sliced ever so thin. My husband had fried rice which was very bland & duck curry, he said it was ok. The toilets were dirty. This place needs a really good clean!

I went on a solo trip with the kids here tonight, I was nervous to try somewhere new with small children but it was a great success!! The food was AMAZING!! the vibe, ultra low key, not too bright, plenty of seating, busy and popular. Food = Clean, quality, good food, with full flavour, cooked perfectly. I had the chicken phô. Omg! One of the best I've had. The gf (gluten free) spring rolls we're delicious too. And the kids loved the fried rice. Overall a great experience, friendly staff, great food, will definitely be back again, and bring friends!!

This was easily one of the best Vietnamese meals we've had, and I am so glad we did not look at the reviews first. The Beef Pho was absolutely delicious and the Sizzling Squid with Lemongrass and Chilli was perfect. The wait staff were polite and keen to do a great job. Easily better than a 5 star experience. Well done.

We, 4 Adults and 2 little kids had a 6pm booking for dinner. We wrote our oder food and drinks on the paper we where given and waited for it to be collected. After 15 min I bought the pice of paper to the front to give it to the young guy who worked there and asked him if he could refill the container with more forks. We waited for 45 min, hungry restless kids still no drinks or food. When the owner walked past us my daughter asked him for Water, prawn crackers and forks which was promptly delivered. After over 1 hour the entrees arrived still no drinks I had to get up and ask for for them. Not sure what was going on than other people who came after us got food and the owner was bringing alcoholic drinks to tables and the young guy was bringing non alcoholic drinks to tables. When I order my meal I asked the young guy if the meet was just boiled or if it was fried than I didn’t like boiled meat I advised him. He went to the back to ask and told me it was stir fried. What arrived at the table was pale cooked meet and the water that surrounded it did not look or taste anything like satay Soße. I called the owner to the table and after a discussion that meal was removed from my bill. The veggie & pork spring rolls where very nice and the other 3 Adults where happy...

Four of us had dinner on Friday 16th June 7.15pm. The rice 2 very large paper rolls were tough the skins had either not been soaked prior to assembling or had been left out to dry. There was one minute prawn in the end of each rice paper roll. They were served with a plum sauce the whole taste was bitter. The fried spring rolls (pork) were burnt at the ends. The honey chicken and cashew main dish was sickly sweet and the cashews had been replaced with half salted peanuts. The only edible dishes were the beef soup and the fried fish balls (served with raw onion). It was the worst meal experience we have had for many years and although the prices might have gone up which is absolutely reasonable these dishes were not worth it at all - very disappointing. I don't expect the standard of Vietnamese cooking to have dropped so markedly. I like many people have been to Vietnam many times and have loved the freshness and zingness of what are essentially simple dishes based on good ingredients. We won't be back until they get chefs or cooks who can...
