Another night and different staff and security doing an excellent 👌 👍 👏 😀 🙌 😎 service 😀 Just popped into check out the venue. The Pokies is nicely set up with tab and public bar. That's about all that I checked out. Friendly and courteous customer service. Ample parking in undercover car parking areas, as well the street parking. Easy access from all parking areas, with a controlled security entrance at the rear and front after certain hours! The security at front door last night was a absolute joke.my husband and I were there earlier, as normal we have 2 drinks and then go to a restaurant, then we normally go back and have another drink before we go home…But the security decided that he was not letting in any women in at all..no one was drunk, nor did he say that, he just said no you were here earlier and you can’t come in, but was going to let my husband and friend in, until I said you go in and get Deb or Janet..that was it now none of us were able to get in..why ??? So we had no problem going to the grand, then went...

One of the rudest managers I’ve ever met who demanded I take my hat off while inside then decided to kicked me out after claiming I was banned for some previous unknown issue I emailed the venue the next day I got nowhere they refused to look into my complaint saying “Thanks for letting me know about your experience at the Pier Hotel. We take every feedback seriously. In this occasion I spoke to the manager who was on duty and she told me she wasn't being rude to yourself at all.” Just do not go here it’s...
