Well I was amazed and it takes some effort to impress me with everything. It was a 30 plus degree Tuesday night and no one felt like cooking, so we ordered food from here for delivery. A meat platter with the veg side option, and a main of calamari with the salad and chips option. Our order arrived in the quoted time frame. First impression when I looked in the bag was, this looks like a very large container on top so that must be the platter I looked expecting the bottom box to be a smaller box for calamari. But there was a second huge box. I also notice the overall weight and hurried inside to investigate. I pulled the 2 huge boxes of food and the generous side salad out of the bag and opened each of the 2 bigger boxes. I was amazed at the serving sizes. the platter had a bit of everything and everything looked yummy. the veg side element in the meat platter was amazing with rice freshly cooked in season veg and scallop potatoes. A great generous selection of meats with a lemon wedge and garlic sauce on the side. Next the calamari a massive serve and I have to say I was skeptical of quality due to the serving size. But to my surprise again the calamari was fresh and soft perfectly cooked. and resting on a smaller but massive pile of chips. The chips where good to. Even the salad was above average with good quality kalamata olives and very nice soft feta chunks. Overall this was hands down the best home delivery food we have had in well over 2 years possibly even longer. Ive seen a few negative reviews for this place before I wrote this, and they all seem related to in house dining, and the impression I get is they are extremely busy because they are making great food and giving some above and beyond serving sizes that would leave even the biggest eaters full and satisfied, I see a lot of people in the good reviews mention not being able to stop eating even once full. The food was pretty good, but the service received was absolutely horrible. When I walked in, the waitress was too busy talking in a huddle with either other colleagues or friends and didn’t ackonwledgr us. I already saw the other people I was with sitting at our table, so I walked over- which she was annoyed about. Seemed like such a chore for the waitress to take our order. Took over 30 minutes to take our drink order and when she took our drink order we advised we would also like to order our meals. She got distracted and said she would be back and came back 15 minutes later to take our order with attitude. Meals finally came out after a delay, but was okay because the food was really good. Waitress did come over asking us if we wanted any more drinks, but again seemed like she had a lot of attitude and couldn’t be bothered taking our order. When it was time to pay at the end, it was such an inconvenience for her to split the bill. She wanted to split it straight down the middle, but that didn’t make it fair for those paying. We only wanted to split it two ways, but she was rolling her eyes at the thought of splitting it. I politely said I can just work out what we owe to make things easier, but she declined saying she will have to get a menu with a lot of attitude she grabbed a menu. At this point I couldn’t be bothered dealing with her, so I just worked out what was owed myself. The meals are very expensive, which you could justify because the food is nice, but you don’t have the service to back it up. Unfortunately has left a very sour taste...

We got mixed platter & meat platter. It was ok to eat but did we enjoy it? Not so much. Meat was a bit dry, underseasoned & mostly leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. We had something in the platter that after tasting it, I can immediately tell the food is off. It was sour & unpleasant smelling in the mouth. I gave it to my partner & he told me the same thing. We couldn't tell what the meat was. The waiter told me it was fish & calamari skewer that is coated in batter & deep fried. And the taste is normal because it has been marinated in lemon & herbs for a long time. And that the chef just made it today. I was puzzled because if the food is sour because of lemons, it still shouldn't taste funky. He later gave it to the chef and asked him to taste it. The chef took a bite, immediately shook his head without taking a second to taste & looked at us like we were lying. " it taste just fine" I felt so guilty and embarrassed for speaking out about it. I apologized a couple of times. They made a new one though. When it came out, I knew I wasn't overreacting the first time. Because this time, It tasted completely different. It tasted & looked like fish & calamari. There was no sour or funky taste to it. Both my partner & I tasted it & agreed that first one was definitely bad. We were one of the first customers there & I wouldn't be surprised if our food was yesterday's leftovers. If you do make a mistake & give out the bad food, at least own up to it & not make the customer feel bad for...
