Good food and good selection! Regularly grab lunch here when in the area. The only issue I have is the manners of the older lady behind the counter - I notice this isn't an uncommon complaint after having a scroll through the reviews which is sad to see. My latest encounter was after asking if she had said the meal I asked for comes with two salads and not just one, after not hearing her due to her walking out of sight behind the and not speaking directly to me with all your cooking noises on top of that, and to be met with the comment "That's why I said two" is just plain rude. Normally I just put up with any of this, but it's clearly a common issue and I've quite frankly had enough of the bad attitude. Oh wow, wow,wow. This place is insanely busy. And for good, or should i say food, reason. I waited for about 15 minutes and that wait was worth second. The chips was crunchy and thoroughly enjoyable. And the chicken simply divine. Crunchy on the outside juicy on the inside. The taste exquisitely delicate. And the service phenomenal. Despite the very very busy environment they served with diligence and with smiles all around. I will be buying dinner here tonight before i head back home to Brisbane. Thank you guys. Almost instantly felt sick after consuming family pack chicken on 18 May 2024. Couple of years ago I used be be a regular customer and food was always great. Don’t go there if you value your health. Wish I could give them less than 1 star. I had now contacted Monash city council asking for the investigation into food safety standards of this business. Sincerely hope this review will force Pinewood Chicken Bar to review its food safety standards as a matter of urgency to prevent any more food...
