We came for the gin-making masterclass and wow, what an incredible experience! It truly felt like four experiences rolled into one. We learned a lot about how gin is made, from the distillation process to the equipment and even how different flavour profiles are crafted. It was hands-on and immersive and we got to see everything up close, which made it all the more fascinating. The couple running the class were absolutely wonderful, warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable but unpretentious. They answered all our questions with genuine enthusiasm, making the whole thing easy to follow and enjoyable, even for non-experts like us. They presented everything in such a simple and approachable way that you feel instantly at ease. The highlight? We got to create our very own gin! We smelled and selected the botanicals ourselves, and they helped us craft a recipe tailored to our individual taste. we even got to take out bottles home! I can’t wait to try mine properly in two weeks, but even the sample I had today already tasted amazing - citrusy, just the way I like it. We were also treated to a very generous lunch. We weren’t expecting it at all, but we were served delicious pizzas, chips, a cheese board, calamari, and chicken. Everything was fresh and tasty and matched our drinks really well. And to top it all off, we did a gin tasting with what I think were 7 or 8 different gins, each introduced with a fun and informative story. The gins were excellent and so much variety and and we even received a discount when we bought our favourites. I would absolutely recommend this experience to any gin enthusiast, or curious to learn something new people. It is also great and a unique gift idea. I would 100%...

I received this "Ultimate Whisky Making Experience" as a Fathers Day gift, what a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. The event started at 11.30ish with a meet and greet with the owners Deb & Brett, a cup of coffee and a short video on the background of "Puss & Mews" and the principles of distilling Whisky. Both Brett, Deb and the interior of the venue, have a welcoming, warm & friendly atmosphere. The hosts have created an experience that allows those in attendance to look, listen and contribute with the process from start to its completion in a "hands on" contribution, to suit your own level of involvement. Highly recommend getting a lift to & from the venue. The premium whisky samples were top notch, the charcuterie and cheese board, followed by a great mix of savoury dishes, topped off with another sample of your chosen premium name whisky, followed by a whisky cocktail of your choice was simply the best. Towards the end of the afternoon, we experienced and tasted multiple "cuts" from our own brew, from which the hosts will discard the "head and tail" and place the "premium cut, The Heart" into an appropriate barrel and, a little further down the track, 2 years or so, once some tannins, and flavour "goodness" from the barrel, perform their magic, we will receive a request to call past, have a catch-up and receive our very own bottle of whisky, created on the Sunday just passed. An outstanding day, complemented by a greater understanding of how whisky is created, combined with very tasty food dishes, great combination of other enthusiastic attendees, all held together by Brett and Deb our hosts. Many thanks,...

We went to the gin master class on Saturday and had a fantastic experience that we would recommend to everyone. The venue is beautiful, close to a train station for public transport and has a fantastic selection of gin and food when open as a restaurant. The masterclass is great value for money, we got a G and T on arrival then made our own custom gins from scratch to our individual tastes which we took home, we also enjoyed a gin tasting of the distilleries favourite gins, a cheese platter and a delicious lunch. Even those who don't normally like gin would enjoy this experience because you can make alcohol from scratch to taste however you like and it is hands on and engaging. Hosts Brett and Deb were extremely knowledgeable and kind, they took into consideration allergies and intolerances with lunch and were very accommodating. We would highly recommend and...

Wow! What a find in the 'burbs! We had such an enjoyable evening trying the delicious gins and cocktails. Couldn't resist bringing home a bottle of the signature dry gin. Service was impeccable and so informative in explaining the different gins we were trying on the tasting paddle. Such lovely ambiance too - really cosy, so it would be great in winter. It'll be awesome if/when an outdoor area is set up, particular for the summer. We were also very impressed with the grazing platter with so many items - very generous for $30. Thanks for such a lovely evening!

An awesome experience- Gin Making Masterclass. Welcomed with their Gin & Tonic - just perfect! The explanations and stories were open and easy to follow. Help was always on hand, Brett & Deb could explain and show without jargon. Then came tasting of their gins - responsibly served with plenty of very tasty food! Platter, pizzas and nibbles! Their email responses were always prompt when we were arranging the booking! Highly recommend- as a gift to others or yourself. A hidden gem and as we can easily catch the bus - we will return!
