Why is no one talking about this place!! 👀 This place definitely deserves the hype than most of the chinese restaurants out there oops !! Their chicken meat is definitely a go to where you get that tender and falvourful meat - perfect for families or a group of friend as they serve A HUGE portion that could be shared with a group of people (affortable pricing!). They have outlets across the Glen and Doncaster, PLEASE come if you are nearby and try it out for yourself!!

Will come back again to try their other flavours! HEHE they have a variety ranging from mala, tawainese style, ginger and spring onion, beef ribs etc. It's just sooo flavourful and tender we cant get over how good it is!! 😍 AND THE BEST PART IS you get a second meal when you are half way done with the meal! You can request to add broth to the pot that turns it into a mini hotpot! Isn't that so worth it for this priceeee :D You can order extra ingredients for the hotpot if needed!

Read moreI was very happy to find this joint. It's a fusion of HK and Sichuan style food. It's been a thing in HK for sometime already but I've only found this one in Melbourne recently.
I don't have to repeat how it works. Suffice to say that the flavours in the chicken pot are good and the side dishes for the hot pot are nice and fresh. The pork meat balls are bouncy and juicy and so are the cheese sausages. I don't know what fish they use but the fresh fish slices have a very nice texture when cooked enough. I would have loved it more if it was free range chicken.
You get to choose the level of spiciness in the chicken pot. Beware that even 1 chilli is quite spicy so if you've never been it may be better to start with one and work your way up.
The only downside is their service. It wasn't bad as they were quite attentive in adding the soup and clearing the plates. But they could do more, e.g. tell guests about the sauces station. It was a shame that we only found out...

The hot pot came loaded with generous amounts of veggies and noodles — things like Chinese cabbage, instant noodles and more were already included. We also added extra toppings like spam, meatballs, and crab sticks. Everything cooked down nicely in the broth, which got more flavorful as it simmered. The spice level was just right — not overwhelming but enough to warm you up.
