Red Rooster Fairfield — Restaurant in Melbourne

I regret to say that my visit to Red Rooster Fairfield was a regrettable ordeal from start to finish.

The customer service was an absolute nightmare. The staff, seemingly comprised of inexperienced teenagers, were clumsy and careless, constantly dropping trays in the back with loud and discomforting banging noises while raising their voices too much. It was impossible to enjoy a meal in such a chaotic and unprofessional environment.

The Chips seem like they were sitting in that tray for ages, and the burger was a sloppy pile of gunk not worthy for human consumption.

The potato and gravy was particularly offensive, tasting like something that was made exclusively for the third world country during war time and belonged nowhere near a dining table. One taste and I had to insist on returning it for another to be completely fair and unbiased. But the exact same result.

The second one was exactly the same nightmare I was hoping was a mistake. One taste and I nearly threw up and quickly had to discard it. I would strongly advise against anyone wasting their time or money at this...

Atmosphere was appalling. No music and no lights on in the dinning room all tables where dirty but no customers. (1:30pm) was bleak and silent was a terrible dine in experience. (Felt like a ghost town.) All employees are just wearing casual clothing not very professional at all. Cook in the back was wearing tracksuit pants with a casual jumper on looked like he sleept in those clothes the night before. (Didn't look clean.)

Also no gloves whist preparing food and touching his phone and wiping his nose. Yes! Wiping his face/nose with his hands and then preparing food without gloves yukk!! Told the cashier about maybe they want to wash there hands or wear gloves. Seriously wouldn't eat anythink they prepard me. Health inspection should be done here. If you enjoy contaminated food maybe a snot suprise hit this red rooster up! I have an issue EVERY single time I order form here. Last time they just didn't send me a whole chicken I had ordered with my delivery and when I spoke to them they told me I would have to come pick it up myself. After complaining and speaking to a manager they eventually agreed to refund me the item I had paid for but not received but that never happened. I let it go.

I order again today and am once again disappointed. Our large gravy that was easily only a quarter full. We ordered a large chips and a family chips and the family chips was only half full so we poured them out next to each other and there was far less in the family then the large which we paid extra for?

I get Red Rooster if fast food but it's not cheap, we just spent $75 on dinner for 2 and are once again completely disappointed. Clearly the owner of this location or management don't care, I wouldn't order from...
