The atmosphere is pleasant.
These guys have really let themselves down in the portion sizes.
i often order a chicken parmigiana when I go out for a meal. One of the reasons is I'm not a fan of leaving a restaurant hungry, especially when they don't hesitate to charge you dearly for the experience.
My plate arrived, and, needless to say, comparatively speaking, it looked like an entre. It was sooo small (likely broke the record for the smallest parma ive ever seen) I'd have been embarrassed to serve that if I was the waiter. And yes, I left hungry and ate something else afterwards. The price certainly in no way reflected the size of the meal.
I am disappointed.
Ironically, this is the first time I've returned to La Porchetta in (likely) more than 10 years, due to their food but not the portion sizes.

This was my first and last visit. I ordered the chicken scaloppine. To my surprise, apparently, chips and salad are no longer a thing. The salad is an extra. I will need to inform my local RSL. Clearly, they are just throwing money away, putting that green stuff on my plate. So, chicken scaloppine with chips it is. One bite in and it was clear the mushroom sauce was void of any flavour. Oh well, I will scrap it off and just eat the chicken. Think again. The chicken was drier than the sahara dessert. Considering it was covered it a "sauce", it amazingly had not absorbed an ounce of moisture. Even the chalk from the Colgate commercial with Mrs Marsh absorbed some moisture. This chicken had a moisture repellent even NASA would be proud of. I think I would even vote to return the place back...
