HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I wish I could have given ZERO!
We went there on Saturday to have brunch, when we entered the cafĂ©, we realized it was too cold as the back door was open and a cold wind was blowing through the cafĂ© which in turn was the staff freezing as well â our server was shivering and apologising for shivering! However, we thought we would get used to it and we ordered our coffee and while we were looking at the menu for food, we decided to leave as my legs were getting too cold and uncomfortable, so we decided to cancel our coffee and get food somewhere else. My partner asked the staff if we could cancel our coffee and they said no we have already started which was fair enough! So, we went next to the front door to wait for our coffee we were promptly asked to pay for the coffee and then to our surprise we were asked us to go outside in the freezing weather to wait for our coffee!! That was very weird as the cafĂ© wasnât even busy and the staffâs attitude changed and became so rude the moment we told them we would like to go somewhere else as here is too cold for us! Anyway, we went out and as it was so cold, I went and sat in the car and my partner waited outside for 10 minutes which then he realized they hadnât even started our coffee and lied to us earlier just to make us pay! Very disappointing!! So, he told them he noticed that they havenât started yet and we could not wait longer so we would go without any coffee even though we had already paid, then they said they will make the coffee for us without saying or feeling sorry!
The whole experience was unpleasant and horrible, the customer service was lower than ZERO! We would never go back to the café where the staff only care about selling and using anything including lies to make you...
Read moreI came here during the school holidays and loved the vibe and the style. The vibe and the baked goods at the front. However, I ordered a decade coffee and got a caffeinated one, which I did clarify. The waitress seemed a bit confused.
I came back to try the food with my partner and we had to wait a long time to get seated. My suggestion is âdonât wait to be seatedâ as the sign says. Go up to the counter and ask for assistance.
To music down the back was quite loud, but good tunes. But could go down at least 20%.
We ordered the food excited about the menu, but when it came it was dilapidated and tasted very bland. I got the mushrooms and the Parmesan cheese was the only flavour. The potato rosti was burnt right through and the salmon was sweaty. I feel like I could have made the same by buying ingredients from Woolies, and paying 1/3 less.
We also ordered the pancakes but they were extremely small and very, very dry; and are pikelets, pancakes. The fruity sauce was nice.
My partner ordered the burrito which we had more success than the people next to us who recommended we donât order it as they left the whole thing in their plate, after one bite. My partner didnât mind it, but said the only flavour was the nice sauce in it.
I feel at this day and age when you go out for breakfast you want something you canât make at home, and something worth $25(avg price) and a bit more then the smaller serves. You want something special. Mr Wednesday is missing that something special. If the service was better I feel youâd come back again and have a simple meal and grumble about the price.
Not today, not tomorrow, any other day...
Read moreWe have been going here for years. Have recently noticed the service dropping off, some staff seemed more interested in their own conversations than working. Today really annoyed me though. We sat out the back, no one else there for a while but with no music the noise coming from the kitchen was really loud. As I spoke to those with me at a normal conversation level, that was drowned out by the conversations from the kitchen. And it wasnât just the noise it was the way people spoke to each other. Then there was a young girl there who seemed to be a relative of those working but was serving food too. Added to this my daughter had plastic containers on her plate with the excuse, we have run out of the normal containers for sauces!! To me then you do not have enough stock of those containers, but plastic was pretty poor when sitting in. Just seemed the whole place lacked professionalism. When I went to pay, I said to the young man at the till said that the noise from the kitchen was very loud, âo yeah, the speakers arenât workingâ as if an excuse for the noise from the kitchen, but really it would have added to the noise!!! Donât make excuses. When I asked if there was a manager, he simply said he would pass it on, but his attitude did not reflect that. To me this is a cafe that once was vibrant and great to go to but today I lost that impression and you have lost customers, especially given the service has dropped off over...
