Have been here twice with my partner and both time were disappointing, lovely views but that’s about the best part. Super overpriced for tiny meals, first time my partner had the big breakfast which they put on a giant plate but it’s tiny for something they’re calling their “big” breakfast, everything on there was cheap and store bought and tasted like it. I had the side serving of the chicken skewers and they were chewy and flavourless. But we decided to give hem another chance a few weeks later and today was even worse. I got the Caesar salad but removed the poached egg and added chicken which made it $22 and when it came out it was a bowl of chopped cos lettuce, 5-6 small pieces of bacon, three small strips of chicken and 4 soggy croutons, and to make things worse there was no flavour or seasoning and the dressing was so thin and obviously water down it was disgusting. My partner order the lamb salad which was supposed to come with a tziaki sauce but instead was covered in a tasteless super oily pesto, the “lamb” had absolutely zero flavour and both my partner and I tried it and were convinced it was beef not lamb because it did not taste like lamb AT ALL. He beat part about his salad was the few little chunks of feta cheese which were naturally salty and the only part of the dish that had any flavour Overall the meals were a 2/10 and that’s being generous, we paid $64 for those meals and one drink each, would not even recommend to my...
Read moreI feel very bad writing this review but I feel as though I need to warn people before they spend their money here. We ordered lamb shanks, we were very hungry, very tired from driving and very excited to have a nice warm meal. That was not the case. I’d like to say the service and staff were amazing but i unfortunately cannot, it was very average, the lady threw our cutlery onto the table and we felt rather rushed to make a decision, the lamb shanks we ordered tasted boiled, the cut of meat was appalling, there was no seasoning on the lamb at all, just some gravy which could not mask the horrible taste of the lamb, it was inedible and we had to leave it, the vegetables weren’t too bad but were underdone and the polenta was just awful, it didnt have any salt or anything on it and it was $75 for the shanks and drinks (two drinks) we ended up leaving still hungry because we couldn’t physically eat what was served to us and the staff weren’t nice enough to talk to about the dish. I genuinely believe that meal should be taken off the menu- I’ve never had anything so awful to eat, even after not eating a thing all day I couldn’t stomach it. I’m very apologetic for the bad review as I thought it was a nice spot but you guys really really need to up your game for what it is you’re serving and charging. I don’t even want to know what the other dishes...
Read moreWe left this place totally perplexed after a very odd 20 minutes. Walked in and asked for a table, the person who served us wasn’t rude but certainly not pleasant. Told to sign in because of COVID which we did then the staff member just walked off without any suggestion we would be seated, turned out they were preparing a table and we were gestured to from the other side of the restaurant to follow. After 15 mins of waiting for someone to come and take even a drinks order, I got up and asked for some service. A few mins later they came over and took a drinks order before telling us that (at 10.30am) breakfast had finished because they had ran out of bread! And would we like something from the lunches menu ... at 10.30am! Menu said breakfast finished at 12 noon and the only explanation for the early finish was “it’s just one of those weird things... “ so we left!!! There were ppl ordering breakfast when we arrived so can’t help but wonder if we would have been able to have breakfast if we had been served in a reasonable amount of time! Won’t...
