I've been coming here for quite a few years and always enjoyed the food. Especially sitting in the warm sun on the back verandah. However, the last couple of times I've been here, I've been quite disappointed. Today, I came here with my (adult) son. I had a burger with chips and a smoothie. The burger came straight from MacDonalds. I couldn't pick the difference. The chips seemed to have been precooked and kept in a bain-marie. Warm but not hot and no salt. The smoothie was an almost flavorless milkshake. There was nothing 'smoothie' about it. My son had pumpkin risotto. The fetta cheese was so soaked in brine that the brine completely permeated and overwhelmed the risotto. He got through about a 1/4 of his meal eaten before he couldn't continue. I see that many reviews (not all) are very positive but our experience was most definitely not.

*Well, having previously had some good food here, I thought that I'd give them one last try. Big mistake! I ordered a 'Sweets Chicken Burger'. The chicken was so dry and stringy that I couldn't eat it. It looked like it had been sitting in a Bain Marie for an hour. I left nearly all of my meal on the plate. When I politely gave my feedback to the lady at the front counter, she gave me a short "I'll tell the kitchen staff" and then turned her back to do something else. No more chances. I won't...

Excellent pitstop when exploring the Yarra Ranges! The atmosphere is great, lots of space with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. Coffee is good and DESSERT is amazing (more on that in just a moment). We had brunch, eggs benny and salmon bagel, both were nice though not spectacular. It seems they may have used canned salmon? I don't want to say for sure, but it was certainly not what I expect when ordering smoked salmon (and crumbled over the top of the bagel rather than in slices, rather unusual). But on to the dessert - I went to the counter and asked the lovely server to help me make the all-important choice between cheesecake and vanilla slice. She proudly tells me that Three Sugars is 'kinda famous for our vanilla slice' so naturally, I took her at her word and ordered one. And oh boy, what a thick, creamy custardy delight! It was a HUGE portion (the server had already offered to cut it in half and I'm glad she did, as it easily caters to at least two people - even when one of us has a massive sweet tooth) and I would almost go so far as to say they are under-charging at only $8 per slice. For aficionados, you may want the pastry slightly more crisp, but that didn't alter my experience. Definitely recommend stopping in at this cafe and HIGHLY recommend ordering the...

Today was disgraceful Right from trying to order through to food delivery. 3 orders, 2 for kids, so yes needs small changes but if operated at register has to punch the order 3 times you can be pretty sure it’s not going to be right

Such a shame as I loved this cafe

Yes today was a massive day for you But I’m pretty sure you missed the jokes the customers were having with your lack of organisation

Waitress calling for, “coffee, latte I think for Dannielle, Then said “god are you here Dannielle” Talking about The customers in the bike ride Crew kept saying Im Dannielle, beets bloody waiting

Same customers in Que to order when we left as when we sat down

Not one of our 3 orders came out correctly & cost $80. As it was bought out I pointed out what was wrong & was told to que to get it fixed For 2 kids 1 adult $12. For 2 pieces of bacon

Nope done with you Very sad Hope the tourists trade is enough during winter

Yes was my grandchild who spilt his chocolate milkshakes down your front window 😢

Happy to not return you & your staff know hole heatedly I was not rude to any of them I have the upmost respect for anyone in customer service Such a shame you & your team don’t

nor were you busy when I arrived

Good luck in the future & hope your team...

Lovely lunch here with my brother on a sunny Saturday. I had the chicken caesar salad and a couple of espressos. The chicken caesar salad was excellent. Coffee was good. For dessert we both had half a vanilla slice each and it was really creamy and whipped up with a crispy pastry. Very good example of a vanilla slice. Staff were friendly and relaxed although very busy! Other customers were nice too. It's not a really sparkling establishment in terms of decor I'd describe as rustic and perfectly suited to the surrounds. Five stars all round. Will come back here next time I'm in Warbie! 👌👍 Came back here and had cheeseburger with fries. Just enough, not too filling and chips were tremendous, very tasty and crispy! 🤤😋 Another successful meal! 👍 edit: will return for solo takeaway lunch and write update.

If I could give this lovely cafe six stars I would. The staff are friendly and the epitome of customer service. I asked if they'd do me an iced tea (not on the menu), "I think we could do that", if they had some lemon, "I think we have that too", and then made me a delicious and refreshing iced tea on a hot day! They gave me a complementary home made dog cookie for each of my dogs! There were smiles all 'round as the kids enjoyed their icecreams and we decided we absolutely had to have a slice of their homemade carrot, coconut & sultana cake too.
