Looking for a peaceful time near nature? Visit Yarra River walking tracks in Warburton. The tracks are slightly of the road and therefore provide quiet and peace to the walkers. The sounds of flowing water of Yarra is soothing. There are ducks, lorikeets and cockatoos that add to the scenic beauty of this place. I think fishing is allowed here ASI saw few people doing that (but check and confirm before you throw that line). There are water fountains at several places making it easier to stay hydrated on a warm or humid day. The tracks might be a bit rough for people using wheelchairs as they are not paved or flat. Car parking is plentiful in the surrounding areas.

We loved walking alongside the river, surrounded by the sounds of nature and the stunning views of the mountains. The path is flat and easy to navigate, so we could really take our time and soak in the beauty of the area. The Rainforest Gallery was a highlight of the trip to Warburton. The raised boardwalk takes you through a lush temperate rainforest, where you're surrounded by ancient myrtle beech trees and towering tree ferns. It was a magical and awe-inspiring experience that gave us a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of the region.

A fantastic and very scenic walk along the beautiful Yarra River. There are many bridges going across the River and you can vary the length of your walk depending on which bridge you cross to get back on the other side. There are many picnic and barbecue spots along the way, plenty of wildlife like dugs and wild birds and very scenic pathways. Every time we come to Warburton we take this scenic walk.

A beautiful 5 km walk along the banks of the fast flowing, Yarra River from the Mayer bridge near the golf course in the west to the Warburton Highway Signs bridge near the Warburton Holiday Park in the east, passing the suspension bridge at the tennis courts and Brisbane bridge, the footy ground bridge, the old Sanitarium Weetabix factory suspension bridge. The track extends on both sides of the river with numerous opportunities to shorten the walk if need be. Stop to see the 350 million year old fish fossils, ripple marks and mud cracks in the large stone blocks that form the new Warburton wharf and viewing platform below the shops. Excellent spots for trout/ fly fishing, swimming or canoeing/tubing / killing down the...

Beautiful place to go for a day out or a holiday as there is a Caravan park and cottages for hire. Cottages are not great for wheelchairs as the hills and acces points are very steep. The river is a great place to swim and cool down. Walking trail only for the mobile able people because there are roots and rocks sticking out and some places you need to step up and down over rocky spots. Other side is more flat and you could go in a wheelchair as well. Lala falls are great but are a fair hike up the mountain and reccomended for fit people with...
