Warburton Picnic Park — Attraction in Melbourne

As its name implies, this is a great place for a picnic. Either with BYO food, or something from the many Cafés and Take Aways nearby. We visited Warburton Picnic Park after visiting the Redwood forest which is just an 11 minute drive away. It is a good place to relax as the picnic area is facing the river, where visitors are also allowed to swim, or you can just sit around to unwind. There are also a few shops nearby where people can buy food for their picnics and tables can be seen around the area which is free of use. Parking space can be limited especially during the public holiday...

The Yarra River Walk is one of the more popular walking and cycling trails. the border of The walk starts from Warburton and crosses the Brisbane Creek. The walking loop is 6 km long and boasts several vantage points. Walkers will also come across a number of bridges and lookouts along the scenic walk and visitors can follow the maps displayed on the large information boards during their walk.
