I feel the place has gone down hill. Loved it for the first few years, feels out of touch and getting worse as time goes on. Yesterday was straw that broke camels back.
Beer selection has been lacklustre for a while, hasnt been changed much for a long time (maybe support more local breweries and change things up?).
They don't want you to order drinks at the bar which creates for an awkward situation when you come in and are told to sit and wait like a child. It makes you feel like going to the headmasters office. If there is no one in the bar, let me order a drink.
Weekend surcharges are frustrating - if you are busy on a weekend that is where you make extra money.
Then to top it all off they had mislabelled pricing on their beer and did not want to honour it. Not only that, then decided to make me feel bad about me questioning it and wanted to argue with me. Telling me that I should know how much their beer costs... Very weird way to treat a customer who has been coming since they opened.
Jack, would love you to bring the venue back to where it was when you first opened.
Need new...
Read moreWhat a wonderful neighbourhood bar and so conveniently next to Fairfield train station too! I love their curated selection of wines and liquor, chilled vibes and great music. I've only been twice but have toted home some wines and gin each time after trying them here (Generous Gin - what a taste discovery!).    Read moreI came here because I was in the area and looking for somewhere to have a quiet drink. The interior design of Rocket Wine is really understated and lovely, and they have a great selection of drinks on offer, with snacks such as various cheeses, olives, and chips. Really unique and well-made cocktails on offer, and I believe they also have some nice beers too. Would be a nice place to share a bottle of wine and some cheese in the afternoon. This is the kind of place I would take visitors to if I wanted to show them the neighbourhood. Will become one of...
