Rosanna Sushi Noodle Station (Now Super Bowl Ivanhoe) — Restaurant in Melbourne

I was hungry so I ordered the deluxe bento for $17.50. Here’s what i got: My tempura prawn was very small, more of a tempura shrimp... only is wasn’t, because instead of being coated in the expected tempura batter, it was caked in a truckload of oily crumbs, I could barely detect any seafood flavour in the half mouthful it was. Oh wel, maybe the spring rolls will be better... nope, minuscule, dry, they each contained a shred of carrot and a bean shoot and zero taste..... surely the main dish will be fine? Non, it was the worst teriyaki chicken I have ever had, hands down. Flabby bits of chicken like meat swimming in sugar and MSG thickened with cornflour. The salad was literally two rocket leaves, there was no miso soup.... but the three slivers of salmon sushimi was just ok. A total disappointment,...

A delightful little gem in the heart of Rosanna. Nestled under the newly developed and recently built Rosanna Eailway Statiin, Rosanna Sushi and Noodle Station offer a delectable array of Noidlw dishes, as well as umpteen various fillings for the sushi... and I love love love the tackiness of the place. It's so stuck in the 1990's, and the staff make no apologies for this. For what they may lack in decor, they more than make up for with their scrumtilly-uouses menu. To top it off, the prices are fantastic,very affordable, and they'll even let you off 40cents if you happen to be short on change (as we were today 😳 I'll be back again and again, keep making the great food I have been so fortunate to have had the privilege of consuming, I'm one lucky lady...

I ordered Tom Yum soup even though it was $16 the man said he would put 4 prawns in it so I get home & it’s filled with offel and only one tiny piece of broccoli & it smelt very fishy and gross. I called the store they said bring it back so I took it back, got a refund, but the lady was very rude behind the counter, she misunderstood the word offel for awful so I googled and showed her (even tho she didn’t care) that offel is in fact the lining of a cow stomach, it is fake crabmeat and she shouldn’t be putting so much of it into the Tom Yum soup, perhaps put some more broccoli into a soup that is traditionally from a Buddhist country!
