Ordered the coffee and ham/cheese and added tomato deal. Coffee ok. Ordered the peppercorn pie, disappointing. No actual steak pieces. Bland. May have been baking since 1947, doesn’t me the owners have any idea about the taste of a genuine Steak and Peppercorn Pie. Perhaps you could drive to Kyneton Bakery and try a real one for yourself. Kyneton bakery are multi award winners. Michelle and her son were very defensive and rude when I told them in my opinion the pie was tasteless and the crossaint with Jake cheese and tomato ends wasn’t toasted properly even the cheese was still cold. Read moreFirst time here and just wanted a magic (coffee) before closing, lady at register was truly a sweetheart to me and to everyone else inside who were still sitting, as though we were all family. She didn’t charge me for the coffee, she said she wasn't sure it was done how a magic should be done and wanted my opinion but it looked right and tasted exactly right, but she still wouldn’t charge so I said I’ll be back to pay next time and will leave a review. Such warmth and kindness should be recognised.
