I visited this “restaurant” a couple of weeks ago whilst my brother was visiting from interstate. We walked in ordered and didn’t mind that we had to stand and wait. As we did we observed the lack of customer service with serving customers to taking them their food to the tables. Lots of pointing and attitude. We also noticed the people that ordered after us and we waited. And waited and waited as we watched those that ordered after us take their food and leave, and we’d only ordered two standard meals. We watched delivery drivers come in and look through the bags on the side as no one was calling them out and not everyone of the orders fit under the heat lamps to keep the food warm.
I decided to give this place another go this time via UberEats as from previous experience it looked as though they got priority when picking up orders, and as I didn’t eat the food last time as was for my brother and his partner.
I live in the area ( 5 minutes drive from the restaurant) and paid for Uber priority and watched the driver (as you can) drive to the restaurant fairly quickly and picked up the order and came straight to me with priority. The food arrived and I instantly took out the food and it was evident there was no heat left in the food, it was stone cold and you can’t heat up lettuce on a burger or even sauce that’s supposed to be drizzled on top.
The driver even used a heat box, but from my previous experience I could tell the same thing had happened and the food was not under the heat lamp. I called the restaurant to explain and was greeted by the usual grunt from the pubescent staff worker and she put the phone down on me once I asked to speak to the manager. Clearly schooling and qualifications are not consisted when applying to work here but you can if you’re a fierce female thug or too cool to work here and don’t give a chit about customers - after all without us you wouldn’t have job.
Result was not overly satisfying and this company needs to read its reviews. Average at best and that’s the food, people ZERO with ZERO atmosphere and ZERO trucks given...
Read more"simplistic yet satisfactory" was what I was going to type, but Schnitz is more than what meets the eye. Schnitz serves as a compact restaurant, mixing the characteristics of a fast food restaurant and a high end diner. Schnitz lacks a high-end atmosphere, instead it looks like a last-minute lunch choice type of place, but the food says otherwise. The wait times are not what you'd expect for high quality food like this. I ordered the parma and chips and I waited less than 10 minutes, almost as fast as a fast food restaurant. The cheese was perfectly balanced with the sauce on the chicken schnitzel, and the overload of seasoning on the chips actually made the chips taste very good. The food quality was probably like something you'd find in a restaurant on the top of a mountain, with $80 meal prices (it actually only cost $15!!!) and a description half in French as I couldn't believe how well the staff made my meal in less than 10 minutes. Schnitz turns a last minute lunch choice into the best lunch you've had all month. I experienced Schnitz as a last minute lunch choice, and a damn good...
Read moreMyself and three others decided to check out your restaurant on Friday evening 24/3 for dinner before we went to our movie session. We spent over $100 on two plates of Hawaiian parma and two plates of Chicken Snitz with chips. We were very disappointed with the four plates we were served. It was like the ham was just quickly slapped onto the parma which was still cold, then pineapple and cheese on top like it wasnt melted for long. The poor quality of the food, also the sizes of the parma were very small. The chicken was dry and the chips were overly salted. We understand when you're busy and serving customers when its peak hour, as I've worked in the same industry serving hot food etc. Just a simple reminder... If you're going to run a business as such, and people are willing to spend a fair amount of money. Please make sure your customers are getting their moneys worth and they walk out satisfied. Other than that, thank you for your...
