Deliberately went to Sharetea due to pretty good experience had with other stores based on the norm of their overall performance. 1st time came to this store, after a bit of efforts to find this Sharetea in the CBD. How nice, I could buy a few to share with my team mates soon of a nice bubble tea! When my number was called I found out a couple of cups of the tea I ordered wasn't in a small carry bag, and I've got existing 2 drink bottles and a small laptop bag with me .. how am I supposed to carry all these with both hands I was asking myself. They then insisted to charge $10C for a small carry bag vs other stores provided it without even asking if I ordered more than one cup. Asked the store manager who was again pretty cold & solid insisting on that whilst witnessing my awkwardness of having to hold all items with both hands. Fine they have their policy, but as a buyer I have my choice after this time. I ended up wrapping them in my hands around my tummy walking 12 mins to the office. Am I gonna come back to this store in the future? Pretty clear answer....
Read moreI ordered the matcha milk tea with the popping pearls in a large size, and originally I saw that the price in total on the price checker screen was around $8 something, but then the price immediately got increased to $1 extra even though I told the female cashier that Iâd pay by cashâŠI wonder if she increased it on purpose because thereâs no way that the price for a milk tea drink I ordered would be at a total of $9.25 (not even any of milk teas that Iâve ordered from gongcha, chatime, the other sharetea store at swanston st etc. have EVER costed around that much) Such a ripoff!!! Will not order any milk tea here again, Iâll just stick to only getting the strawberry fruit tea on here from now on since their strawberry fruit tea is great at least.
Edit: also, when I handed my 20c (instead of 20c & 5c together since I didnât have 5c) to the female cashier, she asked me if I have 5c and I said no and she looked rather annoyed⊠:/ like its not that hard to not give attitude to your customers especially when youâre working in customer...
Read moreWhile they did ask me to check my order, I just wasnât happy with the brown sugar pearls, they tasted stale. Also they made the beverage sooo fast it tasted cheap and nasty. I brought this to their attention and rather than offer me good customer service they just looked blankly at me. So I advised them that I will just have to remember not to come here again for my tea. I didnât tell them I was going to leave a bad review. That will teach them to offer better customer service when a customer returns with negative feedback about the product that they just purchased. So, donât buy your tea here. At least this experience has taught me to read the google reviews of any bubble tea establishment before i decide to buy. That is the only good to come from this. Tea bad,...
