I ordered 2 Bread Pakoda via Menulog and instead they sent me samosa and kachori. I actually do not accept that sorry. They could have called me before accepting the order if Pakoda was unavailable or they could have mentioned in Menulog list that it’s been sold out. They did not take consent of what I would like to get it replaced with. I could have ordered some dry snack like sev or corn flakes mixture instead which I can store can have in next few days as Fresh made snack like this samosa needs to be consumed same day. And they tried to be generous about the fact that they have listed unavailable item in Menulog by putting one extra samosa was totally unrequired. I can not so much eat so much quantity. Bottom line they should not accept order like these or call cx before accepting that if can send replacement and ask choice. They cannot decide by themselves Kachori went straight into bin as do not like it. 2 starts for jalebi only.

DO NOT set foot in this place if you want authentic food. Red flags started immediately as we walked in, with mosquitos, and multiple other filthy insects flying all over the place which was absolutely sickening. However I gave the benefit of the doubt and ordered Samosa Chaat, Vada Pav, and Kachori Chaat. The minute the dishes were served it was so obvious the food was frozen, seemingly for while. It looked plain and watery making it look so unappealing and unappetising I didn't even want to look at the food. Not even one bite in I could have spit the food out. We had to leave, and the food was barely touched. Come here if you want to waste your money. Here are the photos of the atrocities they call dishes:

The snacks are delicious and competitively priced. The service was excellent. We walked into this shop while waiting for our takeaway at Roti&Roti and were treated very pleasantly by staff. They were happy to talk us through the selection and give us samples of things to ensure we would like them prior to committing to a purchase. Walked in to window shop and walked out with a nice little bag of treats. I’d highly recommend giving the shop a look and will absolutely be back.

Terrible and pathetic are the only two words which come to mind right now. Really sad that the management has sold this to the truly oblivious to service "Snack India". They had half burnt Samosas on counter and I enquired they were fresh. The lady at the counter started hounding me that she has herself made and selling (confused here on same person doing both at the same time??)....I may better not buy. I politely explained (and I hope if someone replies to this review, you at least have the decency to not lie to this point). As sadly other shops are not selling at the moment, I had to buy these samosas only. The lady did not stop commenting during the entire time I was in the shop and even after paying told me that we don't care if you don't buy. Anyone is welcome to check any of the reviews I have ever given. This may be the single worse case of quality and customer service I have witnessed. Avoid at any cost. Really hoping Quality reopens there snack shop and the Indian restaurant exactly next door starts making...

I’ve had several negative experiences at Snack India Glen Huntly, but my most recent visit was the final straw. The girl at the counter, who claimed to be the store manager, repeatedly gave false or misleading information about dietary requirements, allergens, and ingredients—just to push sales. She even claimed the food was made by her in the store kitchen, but asked I her to contacted the main store and confirm that it turned out to be untrue.

Her attitude was rude and unprofessional. When I asked for a basic paper container for takeaway, I was told it would cost $2 for just single paper container with take away food. Yet, moments later, someone walked in, didn’t make a purchase, and was given a bag for free. The double standards are frustrating.

It’s disappointing to see staff like this running the daily operations and misrepresenting the business. Owners, please take note—your brand and customer trust are...
