Stans Grill is a small, Balkan kiosk located on Hudson Road, Spotswood. It is sandwiched (pardon the pun) between their other store @maznikpastry and favourite local bakery @candiedbakery.
They specialise in Chevapi and Eastern European Sandwiches, with everything from pickles tor relishes house made, just like Baba would have. šµš¼ We tried two sandwiches, the Village and the Fiery. Both were a generous size, the bread choice is flawless. Would have loved to see some more creative options, there were not much differences between the options apart from the spread. The Chevapi are made up of Pork and Beef.
They went through many tastings to find the perfect style of chips, which were perfect albeit over salted. Overall, we enjoyed them. Unsure if $16-18 is a bit too pricey but also i do make these at home and thereās really not many others out there with the same...

The Village 3.25/5 fiery burger 4.25/5 Stanās Pack 4/5 Fries 4/5

The Avjar sauce and Stanās sauce were really the highlights and saviours of each bite.
Their muffin was just as good. I came back the next week and their cevapi meat inside a patty is the morning wake up call. Altho I wasnāt a fan...

Itās not a bad thing, but itās not authentic.
Food is nice, but itās not taste of balkans you get overseas.
Cevapi is not dry, itās tasty but i have had better. 4/5
Bread is toasted, thin and dry, authentic way the bread should be either dense and wet. Or fluffy. So Iāll give that 3/5 itās not horrible
I asked for sour cream.. they didnāt have it.
They had ajvar instead or their own sauce, the sauce they make is not bad comes in a small little container. Itās a mix between ajvar and cottage cheese.
Overall, itās nice worth a try But if itās authenticity youāre after, itās not the same as...
