I visited this location around 5:30 pm on 30/03. I must say customer service is bad. Staff is halfway professional and doesn't know how to address customer issues. I ordered a mango dragon fruit refresher with almond milk. The person taking order got confused by what I am ordering. I was already having a long day, so I wasn't paying much attention, as all I wanted was to have the drink asap due to hot weather & how thirsty I was. When ordering, I saw the girl put my order with oat milk, which I corrected her, and she said she knows she's just putting on the option as she couldn't find an option for Almond Milk. When my drink arrived, all I could see was strawberries floating in my drink. I said, "Oh, I ordered dragon fruit one," and to that, their response was a bit unexpected. The girl who gave me a drink looked at me a bit weirdly & went straight to remake it. No, sorry, no apologies. Then my drink came out as white as possible, by which I was again disappointed, but after drinking it tasted good and for which I thanked the staff. Only then did they have simle on their faces. I've attached a picture of the same drink from another location in Sydney, the difference is quite visible. My issue is with how they handled the situation. I was literally sitting right in front of the counter. When I took my remade order, I heard the girl complaining, "No, I didn't take the wrong order, she ordered strawberry drink." and they continued talking about it. While I could literally hear word to word. First thing first, why would I order a wrong drink if I was particularly there for Dragon fruit refresher. This isn't my first time ordering the same exact drink, which I have been ordering N number of times. Secondly, if you're making mistakes, please try to be apologetic or avoid complaining about the customer right in front of them.

On Thursday 20/2, just before 3pm I ordered from Spencer outlet Starbucks, a Frappuccino with pbwc, as did my friend. The girl making mine and my friends drink came over and said they had no more pbwc and would we like normal cream or no cream, we asked why she wasn’t making more and she said that it was “too late” even tho it was a - buy one get the second half price - soon. We said we wanted it and she said “well it will take 20 minutes to make”… which is insane since no other Starbucks has taken 20 minutes to make cream. - note. It was not that busy in there at the time. We said it was okay and thanked her anyway, and went to get some lunch while we waited. We came back 10 mins later to them not doing anything with our drinks and just making all of the other drinks from people that had just ordered. They waited exactly 20 minutes to make our drinks.. then before handing them out she said something to the guy on the coffee machine and they both looked and giggled before handing the drinks out. Both with NO pbwc on top. I said excuse me and they both ignored. So at that point my friend and I gave up as they were rude and she was clearly annoyed that she had to do her job of making cream ,, lol. What a joke

Hi, I need an explanation from the store as to why the Caramel Cookie Crunch menu item is different between the two locations. I ordered this item from the Swanston branch and received it exactly as shown in the app, with all the ingredients listed in the description. However, when I ordered the same item from the Spencer branch, I only received a regular caramel frappe for $9.60. I had to ask them to remake it every time, and even then, it was never correct according to the menu description that I paid $9.60 for. And this is not the first time. I asked about the graham crumbs mentioned in the menu description on the app, but the staff at Spencer told me that this drink normally doesn’t include that. They even said if I want it like in the photo I showed them, I should order the Ultra Caramel. I’ve been ordering Ultra Caramel for 3 years, so I know the difference between that and the Caramel Cookie Crunch. My question is: if the Caramel Cookie Crunch at Spencer does not include the ingredients listed in the description, then why is it advertised that way and available to order through the app? Or do the staff simply not know what the correct recipe for this item is?

My partner and I visited your Spencer St Outlet store for a takeaway coffee and forgot to bring our masks with us on this occasion. I have a medical exemption but my partner doesn't.

While waiting in queue to order our drinks, a staff member named Jayde approached us and without sanitising her hands she gave us masks to wear, as a pharmacist first and foremost I was taken aback by this lack of COVIDSAFE behaviour. I tried to get her attention to let her know that I had an exemption but she looked at me and walked away.

A few minutes later we notice this same staff member conversing with a maskless white Australian man while he leaned over the counter as she made drinks. She did not request that he put on a mask and continued to have a conversation with him.

My partner and I are visibly Muslim, I have a beard and she wears hijab. We felt this to be discriminatory behaviour.

Whilst I can appreciate her efforts to try to enforce COVIDSAFE rules, perhaps applying the same rule to all customers regardless of ethnic background would be more appropriate. We also noticed white Australian children over the age of 8 without masks and also were not asked to wear one.

I'd appreciate if you could improve your cultural sensitivity training and ensure that staff are aware of the universal COVIDSAFE rules, not just selectively applying them to those who look...
