I'm not in the habit of awarding 5 stars to any location on the basis that things can always be improved in some way. However, in the case of this location I think it is merited. Some bars try to be so many things but this spot is a gem. It does one thing almost perfect. It's a quiet Irish style pub. Stepping inside its no frills decor makes you feel like your in the countryside at a village pub where everyone knows everyone. If all you are after is a space to have a pint then look no further. You feel welcome and a gentle nod or handshake on your departure just encourages your return. They don't do food and some might see this as short coming but they are more than willing to let you BYO food. Personally I don't see this as a shortfall.
