Bad Decisions Bar — Restaurant in Melbourne

Here on the night of 17th sept and good god. I don't usually leave reviews but this is for management from a fellow hospo worker, the front of house vibe is wayyy awful staff wise. We clearly interrupted a very important conversation between the bartender and their friend/only customer at the bar because we were greeted and served with nothing but horrible attitude and literal silence. I'm not one to say employees should smile if they dont want to, but any use of words would have been great. Or to not feel like me and my friend walked into a break up conversation which would explain the horrible energy and body language coming from behind the bar. There's a bar down the road called...

Bad Decisions is a quirky late-night bar with a lot of personality. The neon red glow outside sets the tone, and inside it’s got a moody, cool vibe with creative decor and a big back bar stacked with spirits.

The cocktail list is strong, and the bartenders know their stuff – definitely more of a cocktail spot than a pub. Smaller and more intimate, but that works well for the style of venue.

Shout out to the English barman (from Rochdale or maybe Scunthorpe – can’t quite remember!) who was a legend behind the bar – friendly, quick, and made the place even more enjoyable.

Good for a nightcap or if you’re in the mood for something a little different to the usual...

My friend and I were planning on going to the club next door, however, it being too early to be busy we were recommended to go next door to to the Bad Decisions Bar. 5 stars all around from the warm fireplace, great selection of alcohol, cocktails (on tap!!) and hilarious decor signs. My friend and I sat in the bar for 2 hours deciding wether or not to even go back to the club because we were experiencing such a great time having conversations with Dave. His boss should be proud as when we offered him a shot he turned it down as he knew he couldn’t, much to our disappointment! Will definitely be back and recommending to all our friends and family....
