Moth-eaten food and poor service

Very unfortunate and unprofessional experience at Casa Iberica. Went yesterday to purchase a tin of biscuits. Though the price on the box was $11 we were told at check-out that the price had been increased to $15 - no signage anywhere indicated this, so I can only assume it was a spur-of-the-moment decision from the staff. Extremely unprofessional thing to do raising the price ad hoc like that. Even worse, when we opened the biscuit tin at home it was moth-eaten, with moths and moth larvae in the tin. Photos attached show the moth-eaten biscuits and chocolates, droppings and insect webbing. Check the quality of the food at Casa Iberica before you purchase, as clearly there are some major oversights and quality problems...

Just had a very poor service experience for the second time. The lady at the check out is not even interested in what you have to say. And of course minimum of $20 for card. I was buying $11 worth stuff - I only had $10 cash and and they won’t accept a card. My other option was to just get what was absolutely necessary, so I bought stuff worth $4 and paid by cash. Ha! Whose loss? They just lost $7 business because the lady won’t even listen to me and was not willing to pay .02% on using the card which would have been just cents. That’s just money but the experience is just bad. I don’t speak Proper Spanish and felt like I don’t exist and she...

This is a really nice place to visit when looking for South American or Spanish products , However today while visiting with a friend , we both bought some sweets , she bought couple of alfajores and I bought a chocoramo , that to our surprise it had mould in it , and we realised once we already had our the first bite. We went to return it where we received two new ones. Once my friend went back home her mum bite into an Alfajor that also had mould in it. This is extremely disappointing and alarming as it causes mistrusts towards the products and it’s safety to the consumer. Please make sure products are being checked regularly...
